PSoC® is the world's only programmable embedded System-on-Chip integrating an MCU core, high-performance Programmable Analog Blocks, PLDbased Programmable Digital Blocks, Programmable Interconnect and Routing, and CapSense. All new PSoC devices feature the industry standard ARM®
Cortex® MCU cores.
The PSoC® architecture consists of programmable analog and digital blocks, a CPU subsystem and programmable routing and interconnect. PSoC lets you plug in predefined and tested IP from the PSoC library of functions (called PSoC
Components), or code your own. Either way, you have the flexibility to build innovation and competitive advantage into your products.
Programmable Routing & Interconnect
This frees you to re-route signals to user selected pins, shedding the constraints of a fixed-peripheral controller. In addition, global buses allow for signal multiplexing and logic operations, eliminating the need for a complicated digitallogic gate design.
Programmable Analog Blocks
PSoC enables custom AFE designs and sophisticated UIs without increasing cost, size or power with Programmable
Analog Blocks including an assortment of switch capacitors, op-amps, comparators, ADC, DAC, PGAs, etc. allowing complex analog signal flows.
Programmable Digital Blocks
PSoC implements Coprocessors and serial interfaces without increasing cost, size or power with Programmable Digital
Blocks such as Timers/Counters/PWMs, Serial Communication Blocks, and Universal Digital Blocks (UDBs). UDBs are
CPLD-based blocks that can be combined to create 16-, 24-, or even 32-bit wide logic resources.
The CY8CKIT-059 PSoC 5LP Prototyping Kit features the CY8C5888LTI-LP097 device from the PSoC 5LP family. PSoC 5LP is the industry’s most integrated programmable
SoC, combining high-precision and programmable analog and digital peripherals with an ARM
-M3 CPU in a single chip. Process sensor signals with the 24-bit hardware DFB coprocessor, offload traditional CPU tasks to the CPLD-based
Universal Digital Blocks and increase system performance with the peripheral-toperipheral DMA controller. Integrate highprecision custom 20-bit Analog Front Ends with the Programmable Analog Blocks including opamps, PGAs, filters, comparators, SAR and Delta-Sigma ADCs and the industry's best CapSense touchsensing solution..
The PSoC 4 M-Series Pioneer Kit features the new PSoC 4200M device - an
-M0 CPU with 128KB Flash,
55 GPIOs and new peripherals including
RTC, CAN and a DMA controller.
The kit features a set of on-board sensors, including an Ambient Light Sensor, a 3-
Axis Accelerometerand a Temperature Sensor. The kit also has an on-board RGB LED, a user-button and a 1-
Mbit Cypress F-RAM device.
Additionally, the kit has headers compatible withRaspberry Pi, Arduino Uno
Compatible with Cypress’s CY8CKIT-042,
CY8CKIT-042-BLE and CY8CKIT-040 kits and Arduino UNO R3 board
Two wide operating voltage serial F-RAM devices: a 256-Kbit SPI F-RAM and a 256-
Kbit I2C F-RAM with an option to operate at either 3.3 V or 5.0 V supply
Stackable connectors are Arduino compatible and allow other Arduino shields to be connected
CY5671 PRoC BLE Module is a complete, certified solution to add BLE connectivity to any embedded system.
The module features a PRoC BLE device, two crystals for the antenna matching network, a PCB antenna and other passives, while providing access to all
GPIOs of the device.
The module can be plugged into the
CY8CKIT-042-BLE Bluetooth Low Energy
Pioneer Kit or can be used standalone with an external programmer like the CY8CKIT-
002 MiniProg3 (sold separately).
