INTRODUCTORY SPEECH
Mr. Chairperson welcomed everyone to the fourth English Language Panel meeting for the year
2012.

CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
The minutes of the first meeting was confirmed by Mdm. B. Sheela A/P Balakrishnan and
seconded by Mdm. Wendy Tay Choon Cheng.

ARISING MATTERS
3.1
Form 1 PBS Status
It was reported by Mr. Muhammad Haikal B. Isnin and Ms. Jerusha Yap Siew Keen that
the PBS for the Form 1 students have been completed. The respective teachers are
asked to finalise the marks and send in a copy for the panel records.

PLBS and ULBS Status
The Form 3 teachers confirmed that they have completed the PLBS assessments and
the Form 3 teachers are asked to prepare the certificates for the students. Mdm B.
Sheela A/P Balakrishnan reported that both the Form 4 ULBS have been conducted and
the files will be sent in by the end of October 2012. Mr. Chairperson also informed the
teachers that the SPM ULBS Certificates were ready and already signed by the Principal.

CURRENT ISSUES AND DISCUSSIONS
4.1
Programme Reports for the year 2012 & the Budget 2013
All English teachers are reminded to hand in their reports for the programmes they have
carried out for the year 2012 as have been assigned to earlier this year.

As for the PCB budget for the year 2013, all English Language teachers are asked to
give their suggestions on what they would like to purchase in 2013. The budget proposal
will be forwarded to Mdm Farah Hanim bt. Tumpang, the school finance clerk during the
4th School Financial meeting on the 9 November 2012.

Departments.

English Modules
Mr. Chairperson thanked all the English Language Teachers for their hard work and
efforts in preparing English Modules throughout the whole year. He hopes that the
teachers will continue to share their ideas and opinions on how the English Language
can be taught creatively and effectively in an English classroom.

Academic Audits for Form 2 & Form 4
Mr. Chairperson reminds the coordinators for Form 2 & Form 4 to prepare the Headcount
reports and also the Academic Audits for Form 2 & Form 4 by the first week of November
2012.

5.0 OTHER MATTERS
5.1
MBMMBI Status
The MBMMBI programmes will continue to be carried out in the coming year 2013. The
programmes for the MBMMBI will be reviewed accordingly in the first meeting for 2013.
