Forging smart STI partnerships and Collaborative Networks with Centres of Excellence intra-ASEAN and with Dialogue Partners T7. Establishing a sustainable financing mechanism to support STI development and capability building across ASEAN T8. Enhancing ASEAN STI Governance in the new AEC Possible options for APASTI 2015-2020: 1. The consultants’ report is accepted. Last payment (USD 16000) can be made; ABAPAST to form a small group to finalise the APASTI. 2. The consultants’ report is not acceptable. No further payment shall be made. ABAPAST Chair to formally inform the consultants. the unused fund can be utilised to support expenses of the small group in convening meetings; 3. Expected milestones: The small group + consultant to meet on 18-19 June 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand; Revised draft APASTI shall be ready by mid July 2015 – the draft APASTI shall be circulated for comments of ABAPAST and all Sub-Committees Development of APASTI implementation plan may start August 2015; Final APASTI (and Implementation plan, if ready) shall be endorsed by COST and adopted by AMMST in parallel in November 2015
