Human resource Management is concerned with people element in organizations. It is a systems approach to management of human energy and competencies in organizational settings to improve the productive contribution of people. Organization Effectiveness largely depends on the performance of people working in organization. Better people achieve better results. “Human resource Management (HRM) is a process consisting of four functions – acquisition, development, motivation and maintenance of human resource.” According to DeCenzo and Robbins Therefore Human Resource Management (HRM) is an approach consisting of four basic Functions: 1. 2. 3. 4. According to Fisher/ Schoenfeld /Show “Human resource management involves all management decisions and practices that directly affect or influences the people or human resource, who work for the organization” Human Resources Management refers to the policies, system and employment practices used to obtain, use, satisfy, develop and retain a firm’s employee or human resources. Ltd. the media house established under company act 2048 in 2055 BS. It was founded by the chairman Ajaya Kranti and his wife Anjan shakya to promote the ad industry in Nepal as a pioneer. It is situated at the kalanki height ktm. It's been making different visual ads and paper ads for different well known company in Nepal Talking about human resource Zeal media formally does not have a separate department for human resource. The policy and strategy needed for Human resource management is done informally. But it has certain criteria for selection of employees like interview. The interview is taken by the chairman with the faculty head. Despite of all these there are some hierarchy being maintain under the direct order of chairman. Training and development activities in HRM are concerned with assisting employees to develop up to date skills, knowledge and abilities. Training is an attempt to improve current or future employee performance by increasing an employee’s ability to perform through learning, usually by changing the employee’s attitude or increasing his or her skills and knowledge. Training refers to the process of imparting specific skills. Through the firm is of small scale the training and development is necessary for the candidate to be part of the team in the organization. Since the firm is the media house the candidate need to know the strategy of file handing and use of the software that are being used by the firm. If new employee is recruited he/she is taken as a trainee for nearly 2mon. to get into the use of the environment and software. It is vital for firm to have an efficient employee. The training is provided by the senior staff in the organization in the working time. It help in employee mental development and he/she will know the obstacles during his training. It also help to maintain the good and necessary attachment for employee to work with other colleague in the team. Motivation is one of the important components of HRM. Motivation is concerned with helping exert at high energy levels. Motivation is force that impels one to work. There may be different factor of motivation to employee to some motivation may be money to some motivation may be status or position etc. there are different theories and different theories are applied in different situation. After getting the training the employee might seek other option. For those we need to motivate the employees. So to motivate them to work in this company and to invest their benefits in the organization they are promoted and increment in salary is given in regular basis. Organization gives different reward for the project. It gives bonus and free tickets for movies and other concerts for doing the project before the time bound and other incentives if addition project is done in that same period. It also gives transportation facility like bike and petrol. It refers to the ability of the organization to keep the employee in enthusiastic phase in the working hour. It involves in making the employee to feel as if h/she is in home and finding the homely environment. It is concerns with keeping the employee loyalty and commitment towards the firm. For achieving this, firm do different activities regularly. it organizes different concerts in every year, take in different field visits. It also takes to other similar organization to learn new ideas from them. During the time of shooting it takes all crew of the office for refreshment and learning the new materials in the external environment. It also take us to picnic and trekking for refreshment of the employee in timely basis.
