Dear Sirs,
I write in response to the comments made by Worcestershire Highways
response dated 11th March 2011 regarding the above application.
I note item 2 that mentions the gates as shown on the proposed site plan been
made to open inward. It is unfortunate that the gates would not be able to open
inwards due to the incline of the drive. The land registry documentation issued
following my purchase shows the boundary of Vine Cottage been right to the
edge of the Kennel Bank which currently has a steep bank adjoining the
unclassified road. Therefore it is proposed that once the drive has been cut into
the bank and the ground levels adjusted, to set the gates sufficiently in from the
road so that they can be held in the open position without been near the edge of
the existing road.
My site proposal is solely based in design and appearance to the neighbouring
cottage which also may well have been done within permitted development as
set out in the letter from Wychavon District Council dated 19th August 2009 on
the strength of which I purchased the property.
I would ask that the appearance and surface dressing of my proposal be
reviewed in the light of the above comments.

I would also request clarification regarding item 3 which according to the
vendors of my property who claimed ownership of the lane with which my
property stands, therefore I would request clarification regarding the ownership
and the necessary maintenance that is well over due and if on the basis of the
above an authorized contractor is required as there is just a mown back with no
kerb or path there at present.
I would be happy to meet all concerned on site to discuss any queries or
concerns, in the meantime, I await your favourable response.
