RULES ON THE 2014 PEACE ELECTIONS
November 11, 2014
1. Elections shall be by (modified) viva voce;
2. For the purpose, a Commission on Election (COMELEC) of
three (3) membership shall be constituted, such that one
representative shall come from each of the three main
islands, Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao;
3. Any member regardless of rank and position is eligible for
nominations and elections;
4. Any member may nominate a candidate when the position is
open for nominations;
5. The member that nominates a particular candidate for a
particular position shall be required to say few words about
the nominee/candidate;
6. When the nominations are closed and duly seconded and
within reasonable time, there are no contests acknowledged,
elections/division of the house follows;
7. When the nominations are closed and duly seconded and
there is only one nominee/candidate for a particular position
and within reasonable time,
there are no contests
acknowledged, the same shall be construed as a valid
nomination, elections follows;
8. For the positions of Vice Presidents:
There shall be VPs per island (LVM)
The same procedure shall be followed but the nominator
shall come from the same island where the nominee comes
from and the voters shall likewise be from the same island;
9. A representative from each region who shall compose the
Board of Directors shall be selected (by appropriate means) in
a separate procedure as determined through consensus by
the members within the region;
10. Within a considerable time during the Election Day, such
result per region be officially submitted to the COMELEC
through its secretary;
11. Proclamation of the winners of the Elections by the
COMELEC shall be immediately done after the official results
of the elections shall have been duly certified and submitted
by the secretary to the COMELEC;
12. PROTEST OR CONTEST Shall no longer be entertained
after the Proclamation;
13. The Positions are:
A. President
B. Executive Vice President
C. VP For Luzon
D.VP For Visayas
E. VP For Mindanao
F. Secretary
G.Treasurer
H.Auditor
I. PRO (2)
J. 1 Representative per Region
