rights and include a thorough context and problem analysis as well as a clear and realistic description of how your
project addresses the challenges identified.
The application must be developed in collaboration between the Danish and the MENA organizations. Include only
relevant and necessary information, and make sure that the total application does not exceed 20 pages.
Please read the guidelines (http://kvinfo.org/mena/how-apply) and the guiding instructions under each sub headline
carefully. By following the instructions you will be able to describe all matters required in the guidelines.

does it affect women and men (girls and boys) in the community?
Target group and stakeholder analysis: Please describe the direct target group(s) (rights-holders) i.e. the individuals
and groups whose entitled rights are being threatened or violated and who will benefit directly from the project.
Furthermore, please provide a list and an assessment of the key stakeholders (duty-bearers) i.e. the individuals and

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Project objectives: Please state one overall development objective representing the change (formulated as a changed
state of affairs) that the project aims to contribute to in the long-term (beyond the project period), and two or three
immediate objectives, describing the specific changes that realistically can be achieved within the entire time frame of
the project, and which will help you to solve the problem(s) described in the problem analysis.
For each immediate objective, formulate one or more key indicators. These should specify the minimum to be achieved,
as well as how this can be measured or rendered probable. Please use the table below to group the objectives and
indicators.

Results and activities: A project’s activities should produce a series of results, which in turn should lead to the
compliance of the immediate objectives. Please provide a list of the expected results. These should be concrete (indicate
what, when and for whom) and able to verify. Please use the table below to group the activities and results according

the primary stakeholders (rights-holders) and advocacy towards duty-bearers, and 2) how to contribute to capacity
development of the partner organizations and relevant key stakeholders.
Sustainability: Please describe how you will ensure that the results of the project will be sustained after the completion
of the project, including how the financial and technical assistance will be phased out in a responsible manner.
Assumptions and risks: Please describe the main assumptions (conditions or decisions, outside the direct control of the
project) which have to be fulfilled for the project to succeed, and explain how you, to the extent possible, will ensure
that they hold true. If there are any significant external factors (risks) that could hinder the achievement of the
immediate objectives or delay implementation, please indicate these and state how they will be tackled during the
implementation of the project.
Dialogue and debate: Please describe how the project will contribute to dialogue and debate on gender related issues
in the local/national/regional context including Denmark.
