One of your students, Tommy Perkins, has
been disruptive in class for the past week.
Yesterday, he snuck a Coke into the lab and
it spilled all over the keyboard, ruining it.
He and his best friend, Lou Jenkins, decided
to IM all class period today instead of doing
their spreadsheet assignment. You want to
contact his parents via email, Jim and Mary
Perkins.
You receive this email from a teacher and need to respond:
Mrs. Miller,
Yesterday during computer lab, I specifically asked that my
students work on their Texas history research project. I even
emailed you a list of websites that they were to use as
resources. When they returned, none of them had anything
done and one student told me that he played some math
game the entire period. I do not know what you all are
doing down there, but now we are way behind on our
project. I do not know what else to do about their lab time.
Mrs. Jones
You receive this email from your assistant principal and
will need to respond:
Mrs. Miller,
We have had some concerns from parents and staff
regarding our students using appropriate digital
citizenship on projects and during their core classes. Can
you please tell me how you are addressing this during
their class time and what things that our core area
teachers can be doing to reinforce this throughout the
school day?
Thank you,
Mrs. Dobbins
