First Committee Conference Call was held on 2/13/14 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM PST and the following action items were developed.
* Poll the CASFAA Membership for needs/wants/communication methods around federal issues (Scott)
* Continue to monitor the current NegReg Sessions, President’s proposed College Rating System, HEA Reauthorization (everyone)
Four members of the CASFAA EC (Scott Cline, Lindsay Crowell, Sunshine Garcia, Denise Pena) attended the 2014 NASFAA Leadership and Legislative Conference in
Washington DC from March 9th to the 11th for training and to meet with US Senators, Representatives and their Staffs.
Next Conference call is March 20, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM PST (via conference call).
