Position: Production Engineer (New Shalimar Steel Industry Sheikhpura Road Lahore)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Managerial responsibilities of production.
 Handling and supervising the process of Induction Furnace Plant, CCM plant.
 Making different grades of steel of required composition.
 Monitoring of scrap section.
 Checking the lining of ladle and tundish and induction furnace.
 Checking the billets cracks and faults.
 Checking the material requirement of whole plant.
 Checking the work capability of workers.
 Inform the faults in processes and inform to upper management..
 Give them solution to solve the problem.
SKILLS:
 Alloy addition with calculation to make required grade of steel.
 Make the recovery of Alloy maximum.
 Using different blends of scrap to optimize the cost and maintain the quality.
 Control of carbon and other impurities in steel.
 Refining of steel by controlling the sulphur and phosphorous.
 Finding out the problems related with CCM plant and in billets.
 Working on different type lining of furnace and ladle.
 Trying to make the lining life maximum.
 Operating of spectrometer.
 Light microscopy to check the inclusion level of steel.
