1. Superior vena cava definition
The second largest vein in the human body.
2. Valve
It controls the one-way passage of fluid through the Heart.
3. Right Atrium
An upper chamber of the heart that receives blood from the vena cava.
4. Right Ventricle
The chamber on the right side of the heart that receives blood from the right atrium
and forces it into the pulmonary artery.
5. Inferior Vena Cava
The vein that is the largest vein in the human body.
6. Aorta
The large artery trunk that carries blood from the heart to be distributed by arteries
throughout the body.
7. Septum
A dividing wall between bodily spaces or masses of soft tissue.
8. Pulmonary Artery
Arteries bring blood from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs.
9. Pulmonary Veins
A vein conveying oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart.
10. Left Ventricle
the chamber on the left side of the heart that receives arterial blood from the left
atrium and pumps it into the aorta
