Between minutes 13 & 15, you will find the answers to many questions that you have been asking. If a student did not take an EOC, he/she may retake it. The score will replace the original zero that was factored in and the grade will be recalculated. If a student already has an EOC score on file, he/she may retake EOC. However, the grade will NOT be recalculated. PSAT Updates Test Date: Wednesday, October 28, 2015 Cost: $15 The state has continued its contract: ALL 10th grade tests will be paid for by Florida. Make sure grade levels are correct on answer sheets. Fee waivers for 11th grade students with free/reduced lunch. PSAT/NMSQT® Supervisor Training course – early September https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10/foreducators/resource-library Deadline to decrease order is TODAY!! Deadline to increase order is 9/25. Notification Letter Follow-up email to specific schools: confirming order, ordering, Level 1 codes, Level 2 codes ACT School Day Tuesday, September 29th (No students 28th) Same testing administration procedures as Saturday administration Testing from approximately 8 am – noon No bells/disruptions These students may not leave for lunch until finished. Monitor students during break No Writing 3-8 weeks for score reports Cost: $39.50; Fee waivers and vouchers are NOT accepted for School Day. ACT School Day (continued) Who May Test? Seniors who wish to pay cost. If your site has room and wishes to grant access, juniors who wish to pay cost. The district will pay for 400 students who match the following criteria: Seniors without concordant reading scores Demonstrate a financial need (does not necessarily need to receive free/reduced lunch) Request Form MUST be completed and returned to Heather Himes by September 11th. 30 students per site; If remaining spots, first-come, first-serve. Registration There is NO online registration or payment. Although, scores will appear in their online accounts. Your site will be responsible for collecting the applicable fees and submitting the funds to the district. Internal Accounts Transfer – Directions will be provided. ACT School Day Coordinator will be responsible for generating rosters and tracking fees. ACT School Day (continued) Pre-test Session Mandatory prior to test date Approximately 1 hour to fill in all of the questions that are typically done in their online accounts, such as which colleges will receive score reports. We will also have approximately 225 vouchers to use for students who need financial assistance, but have used all of their fee waivers.
