WHAT IS THE PROJECT „TERME SISCIA“?
The project “Terme Siscia” is based on he use of Sisak natural thermal iodine water,
and according to project program content this is a multifunctional project .
The first investment phase involves:

Procesing of iodine water for medical and food products (PIW),
Institute for balneology and biomedicine (IBB),
International paralympic sports center (IPSC - in colaboration with Croatian
Paralympic Committee).

CONCEPT
To put the Sisak thermal iodine water into operation for permanent use as a unique
natural resource for medicine, health, pharmaceutical, scientific and sports and
recreational purposes.
MISSION
To reasable people from suffering of diseases and disease conditions.
ONTOLOGICAL PRINCIPLE
Harmonization of natural medium biological performance with diseases and disease
conditions.
GOALS
To create on ethical principles a scientific and material basis for continuous use of
iodine water in medical purposes and become a center of excellence as well as a
reference center for medical, scientific and paralympic society.

To our knowledge, in the world there is no a similar center which should provide in
one place such a large number and type of specialist services. Because of its
programs, mission and goals the Project ‘’Iodine Water Spa Siscia’’ would be serve
in the realistic foreseeable future as a role model for the formation of similar
centers in other parts of the world.

1928. geothermal iodine water was discovered, with temperature of 52,6O C
at spring and its average iodine content of 25,3 mg/l
1932. Sisak thermal iodine bath was founded, at that time the best
equipped public baths in Europe
until 1935. Sisačka mineralna voda (Sisak Mineral Water) with addition of
CO2 was bottled and sell
1951. first therapy with iodine mud
iodine production for industrial and medical purposes
since 1970. inhalation therapies
1991. the use of iodine ceased to exist

AN APPLICATION OF IODINE WATER IN
OTORHINOLARYNGOLOGY
A pioneering step forward has been made by the
otorhinolaryngologists of Sisak at the beginning of the seventies of
the last century. They are applied natural iodine water (without the
use of other medications), for the first time in worldwide medical
practice, for the treatment of human chronic diseases and diseases
of respiratory system.
The positive therapeutic effects were registered in more than 2/3 of
patients who no longer needed medical treatment.
Medical therapy in the field of otolaryngology and endocrinology in
our Project, to our knowledge, is not implemented in any health
institution in EU.
As the otorhinolaryngologists of Sisak once, so today we do not
imagine Sisak natural iodine water like ‘’a magic water’’, because it
is not.
This water is a real natural orthomolecular medium and medically
proven medium for the treatment of certain diseases and from the
medical point of view can be accepted as the main and auxiliary
treatment.

FREQUENCIES OF DISEASES AND ILL CONDITIONS

in EU exist 22,5 million people which are living with or have
otorhinolaryngology diseases (in New Zealand almost more than
30% of all population – the highest rate in the world, in Australia
about 20% etc...)
•
respiratory diseases are among the top five causes of mortality in
EU including Russia and Central Asia...
respiratory diseases are the mayor health problem and the most
common in hospitalization in Saudi Arabia and UA Emirates...
EU has about 12,5 milion people with endocrine diseases, in USA
about 7% of population has the same problem, Kazakhstan about
14%, Arabian Peninsula about 5%, in Russia this diseases are the
fourth in frequency,..., etc.

worldwide there are areas deficient in iodine (the biggest in
China, northsiberian regions in Russia, mid-and northwest part
of USA, the entire Arabian Peninsula, Kazakhstan, part of France,
Germany, Africa...)

EU has registered more than 70,0 million people with various
degrees of disability...

CONCLUSIONS
•
if we understand the frequencies of diseases and ill conditions as a reasonable
NEEDS for people, then we have to accept the biological performance of iodine water
and medical treatment based on it as a POSSIBILITY that could meet this NEEDS
•
natural sisak iodine water with this set up medical programs are irreplaceable and
indispensable resources for the treatment of certain diseases and ill conditions
•
all the knowledge, products and methodology of work we can and wish to transfer in
health and social system of each country they need it
•
the project ‘’Iodine Water Spa Siscia’’ could serve as a ‘’role model’’ for the formation
of similar centers in other countries
•
the project „ Iodine Water Spa Siscia“ has his own humanistic, medicine, scientific and
economical justification for implementation
•
project-program contents of project “Iodine Water Spa Siscia”” is in accordance with
the thematic areas of investment within EU financial perspective for the period 20142020.
•
we propose, in good faith and bona fide manner, to open dialogue and examination of
the factual setting of the project ‘’Iodine Water Spa Siscia’’ and the purpose of its
realization as a supporting the evolution of humanistic relations.
