A) The Competition
1.
By submitting your Entry to this Competition (as per below condition 4) you acknowledge that you have read,
understand and fully agree with these Terms and Conditions (condition 1 to 39). If you do not agree to any of the
Terms and Conditions, you may withdraw your Entry prior to the Prize Draw by emailing us at [Madeline to insert] with
the subject heading ‘withdraw from Win a Trip for Two to Fiji Competition’ by no later than 3 December 2015.
2.
The Promoter of the Competition is CPA Australia Ltd (ABN 64 008 392 452) of Level 20, 28 Freshwater Place
Southbank VIC 3006 (Promoter).

The Competition commences on 12 October 2015 at 00:01 (AEST) and concludes on 27 November 2015 at 20:00
(AEST) (Promotional Period).
B) Entry Criteria
4.
Entry in this Competition is open to individuals who:
a) are aged 18 years or older;
b) reside in Australia;
c) have purchased or have been awarded by CPA Australia Ltd a valid delegate pass registered in the name of the
individual for CPA Congress 2015 (Delegate Pass);
d) have scanned their Delegate Pass at the Telstra Corporation Limited (Telstra) exhibit stand during CPA Congress
2015 during the Promotional Period,
(“Entry” or “Entrant”).

The Promoter’s: (a) employees, directors and their immediate family members; and (b) agents, agencies, sponsors and
their employees and contractors are ineligible to enter this Competition. Corporate entities (as described in the
Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) are also excluded from entering this Competition.
6.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of Entries and to disqualify:
(a) any Entry which in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting,
inflammatory or defamatory statements;
(b) any Entrant who tampers with the entry process (referred to in Clause 4);
(c) any Entrant in the sole opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Competition which is fraudulent,
misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Competition and/or the Promoter
and/or its sponsors; or
(d) any Entry that is not in accordance with any of these Terms & Conditions.
7.
Should an Entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the Entrant's responsibility to notify the
Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an Entry should be directed to the Promoter.
C) Selection of the Winner(s)
8.
The Competition will be a random draw competition from valid Entries received during the Promotional Period. By
successfully completing the entry requirements in Section 4, the Entrant will receive one (1) chance to win. By
scanning their Delegate Pass at each sponsored exhibit stand (other than the Telstra exhibit stand), the Entrant will
receive a maximum of one (1) further chance to win the Competition. If the Entrant scans their Delegates Pass twice at
one sponsored exhibit stand, the Entrant will receive one (1) chance to win the Competition. For example, in the event
that an Entrant scans their Delegate Pass twice at the first sponsored exhibit stand, once at the second sponsored
exhibit stand and once at the third sponsored exhibit stand, the Entrant will receive three (3) chances to win the
Competition.
9.
One (1) valid Entrant will be drawn at random to become the winner of the Competition ( “Winner”). The prize draw will
take place at the Promoter’s head office at Level 20, 28 Freshwater Place, Southbank Melbourne 3001, at 16:00
(AEST) on 4 December 2015 (Prize Draw).
10. The Winner will be notified in writing and on CPA Australia’s website within five (5) business days of the Prize Draw.
The Winner will have their first initial, last name and State of residence published on CPA Australia’s website within 10
business days of the Competition prize draw.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to request any Winner provide proof of identity, proof of residency at their nominated
prize delivery address and/or proof of Entry in order to claim a Prize. In the event that a Winner cannot provide suitable
proof, the Winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a Winner retrospectively if the Promoter becomes aware that the Winner
or the Winner’s Entry is of a type described in clause 6.
13. If there are no valid Entries during the Promotional Period then no Prize will be awarded.
14. Subject to any direction given under relevant State legislation, if a Winner is unable to be reached (following
reasonable attempts by the Promoter) and such Winner does not claim the Prize within a reasonable period of time (as
deemed reasonable by the Promoter), a Competition re-draw will be undertaken by the Promoter at Level 20, 28
Freshwater Place, Southbank Melbourne 3001, at 16:00 (AEST) on 20 April 2016 and another winner of the Prize will
be selected (Second Chance Winner).
15. The Second Chance Winner will be notified in writing and on CPA Australia’s website within five (5) business days of
the relevant Competition re-draw. The Second Chance Winner may have their first initial, last name and State of
residence published on CPA Australia’s website within ten (10) business days of the Competition re-draw.
16. Subject to any non-excludable statutory obligations, the Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into
correspondence regarding the Competition result.
D) The Prize(s)
17. The prize is: (a) a voucher from Corporate Travel Management Limited (CTM) for two (2) return flights to Fiji capped at
$2,000 (Inc. GST) and valid until 1 December 2016 (Travel Voucher); (b) seven (7) nights accommodation in a
Premium Ocean View room for up to two (2) adults at the Pearl South Pacific Resort (including complimentary
breakfast) in Fiji; (c) a snorkeling trip for two (2) adults; (d), a sunset cruise for two (2) adults, and (e) an island
excursion for two (2) adults (Prize). This Prize is non transferrable and is not redeemable for cash. The total maximum
value of the Prize is AUD 5,853.00.
18. There is a total of one (1) Prize. One (1) Prize will be awarded to the Winner.
19. The Prize has been provided by the Promoter.
20. The Winner will comply with all of the terms and conditions of the Prize.
21. If the Prize is unavailable, for any reason whatsoever, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a Prize
of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
22. If a Winner does not accept the Prize or an element of the Prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that Prize
or the element of that Prize will be forfeited by the Winner and the Winner will not be entitled and will not receive
another prize or incentive (including cash) in lieu.
E) Use of Winner’s Image/Video
23. The Winner hereby permits the Promoter’s employees, agents or contractors to film, photograph, video/audio record
the Winner(s) and use such video, image and/or voice for marketing, promotion or advertising purposes in connection
with CPA Australia Ltd (at its discretion), in any media and medium whatsoever throughout the World (Use Rights)
and the Winner will not be entitled to and will not claim any fees or royalties for such Use Rights.
24. The Winner agrees to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests by the Promoter
relating to the Prize and the Competition, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed
and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of the Prize.
25. The Winner provides its express Moral Rights consent with respect to any Use Rights upon its Entry into this
Competition. The Winner will not bring a claim in respect of any of its Moral Rights in respect of the Use Rights
exercised by the Promoter.
26. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by
the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
F) General Terms
27. This Competition is authorized under SA permit number (XX), NSW permit number (xxx) and ACT permit number (XX).
28. The Promoter, and each of its related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents accept no responsibility for any
late, lost or misdirected Entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason whatsoever.
29. The Promoter, and each of its related bodies corporate, officers, employees, agents and licensees are not liable to the
Winner for any tax implications arising out of the Prize or the Competition (including any Fringe Benefits or Personal
Income Tax). Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the
Prize.
30. The Promoter will not be liable to any person or organization (including Entrants) for cancelling or postponing the
Competition if such cancelation or postponement: (a) is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but
not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of
terrorism; (b) due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures,
which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Competition; or (c) in
the reasonable opinion of the Promoter harm the promoters reputation or cause or likely to cause the Promoter to
breach any arrangements with third parties or any Commonwealth or State regulations or legislation. Changing,
modifying or suspending the promotion is subject to relevant state and territory regulations. A promoter/agent cannot
change, modify or suspend a promotion without permission from the state bodies who issued permits for this promotion
31. Subject to any liability which cannot be excluded at law, the Promoter, and each of their related bodies corporate,
officers, employees, agents and contractors will not be liable for any loss or damage (including but not limited to
indirect or consequential loss) whatsoever which is suffered by any Entrant, Winner(s) or any other person associated
with this Competition, that arises out of or is connected with this Competition and/or the Prize including, but not limited
to; (a) any personal injury or death arising from the Prize or the Competition generally; (b) any incorrect or inaccurate
information associated with this Competition; or (c) any technical error that may occur in the course of the
administration of this Competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or
transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised
access to or alteration of Entries.
32. All Entries become the property of The Promoter. Subject to the Privacy Statement below, the Promoter may use the
Entrant’s names, address(es) and telephone number(s) for future marketing and publicity purposes in any media
worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid.
G) Privacy Statement
33. Each Entrant’s personal information that is collected by the Promoter for this Competition (“Personal Information”) is
collected and used to:
(a) conduct the Competition;
(b) process your entry into the Competition;
(c) award you any Prizes;
(d) identify you as a Competition Winner;
(e) facilitate future Competition marketing campaigns;
(f) conduct analysis or market research;
(g) provide you with information on the Promoter’s partner/affiliation products and services; and
(h) generally provide you with information on the Promoter’s products, services, events or Competitions.
34. By scanning their Delegate Pass at a sponsored exhibitor booth (the “Sponsor”), the Entrant acknowledges and
agrees the Promoter providing their Personal Information to that Sponsor for the purposes of that Sponsor or their
contractors and agents contacting the Entrant for marketing and other commercial purposes. If the Entrant does not
wish for the Promoter to provide their Personal Information to the Sponsor, they must please email
mbcomp@cpaaustralia.com.au and specify that they do not wish your details to be provided to that Sponsor by 1
December 2015.
35. The Promoter may disclose the Entrant’s Personal Information to external service providers to which the Promoter has
contracted out functions such as printers, mailing houses, IT companies and media and advertising companies, but
only for the purpose set out above in Clause 33 of this Privacy Statement. The Entrant’s Personal Information may be
transferred or stored outside the country where the information was collected for the purposes stated above.
36. The Promoter may contact the Entrant through e-mail, SMS, telephone or post for the purpose(s) set out above in
Clause 33 of this Privacy Statement.
37. The Entrant has the right to access or correct any Personal Information the Promoter holds about them (subject to any
applicable legal exceptions) and can do this via the “Update my profile” service on the Promoter’s website at
www.cpaaustralia.com.au. The Promoter will generally provide the Entrant with access to their Personal Information.
38. If the Entrant does not provide the Promoter with the Personal Information requested, or if the Entrant provides the
Promoter with inaccurate Personal Information, the Promoter will not be able to process their Entry into the
Competition.
39. Entrants’ Personal Information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and Winners’ names
published as required under the relevant legislation/regulations.
