Students will view “The Custom’s House”, “The Prison Door”, and “The Market
Place”, “The Recognition” , and “The Interview “ THE SCARLET LETTER
Day 3
Bell Work: Students will do Daily Oral Grammar Activity #10
Copy Sentences Correctly from Overhead and Green Pen Correct Activity #9
Class Work: Students will take Literary Terms Quiz #1
Students will continue ---SOCRATIC SEMINARS SCARLET LETTER 1-12
Day 4
Bell Work: Students will turn-in Daily Oral Grammar Sentences 1-10 for grading
Class Work: Students will complete SOCRATIC SEMINARS SCARLET LETTER 1-12
Students will analyze poems by Edward Taylor “Meditation #6” and “Upon a Wasp
Chilled with Cold” Complete Questions for each poem and prepare to write an essay
which compares the writings of Anne Bradstreet and Edward Taylor
Day 5
Bell Work: Journal Writing Based on THE SCARLET LETTER #1 (SEE OVERHEAD)
Class Work: Students will complete essay comparing the writings of Anne
