Drive to work
8:45am
Get to work and check Outlook for today’s meetings and emails. Read
economic recap emails sent from banks (Goldman, Bank of America )
describing and analyzing how the markets closed yesterday and the market forecast
for today
10:00am Update financial charts using Microsoft Excel and analyze prior to submitting to
manager
11:00am Meet with the managers from different departments in Treasury (Global Risk
Management, Corporate Finance, Treasury Operations, etc.) to gather
information to be placed and updated on the global website
12:00pm Update the Corporate Treasury website

12:30pm Lunch with co-workers and other interns
1:30pm
Continue updating the Corporate Treasury website
2:30pm
Meet with banks (i.e. Goldman, Merrill, Deutsche, etc.) to discuss the
opportunities in the commercial paper market
4:00pm
Go back to desk and review all the information from the meeting
4:30pm
If the company performs a share repurchase transaction, I immediately record
and update the financial sheets. This information is immediately sent to the CFO
and Treasurer for review
5:00pm
Send out final emails, make “to-do” list for tomorrow, make final updates to the
Corporate Treasury Website and organize desk
5:30pm
Head to the gym to workout with co-workers and other interns
7:00pm
Get home, shower, make lunch for tomorrow and cook dinner
