Dress Code:
Class members will adhere to Bonneville and District dress code. In addition, students will be expected to dress
modestly. The dress code for this class includes:
1. No exposed shorts or underwear beneath normal outerwear.
2. No exposed midriff.
3. No exposed cleavage.
Attendance:
Regular attendance and participation are fundamental to the learning process. The District and Bonneville High
attendance procedure (as found in the student handbook) will be strictly enforced. 4 unexcused absences will
result in a failing grade for the course. Tardiness will be immediately marked after the tardy bell has rung.
After, you will be considered absent. If you are tardy, you may not make up bell activities and quizzes. Abusing
hall passes may result in a tardy. You may use a hall pass by leaving your cell phone in the basket. You may get
your cell phone back as soon as you return.
Assignments:
Complete all required work to the best of your ability. Learn the most you can from each assignment. Be sure to
ask questions when you don’t understand an assignment. I will be available for help during LAKER TIME and
after school by appointment. Copying, trading answers by any means (talking, candy wrappers, fax machines,
cell phones, etc.) is cheating and will result in an automatic zero for all students involved. All assignments should
be turned in at the beginning of class period on the due date. Late assignments (lose 20% of total points) will
be taken as long as they are turned in before the corresponding chapter test. If you are absent (not truant)
the day the assignment is due, you may turn it in when you return to class. Please take care of extracurricular
assignments before you leave for the activity. You will be given two days to complete missed assignments. If
you are truant the day an assignment is given or due, you will be given a zero. You are responsible for all work
assigned in class! Please make sure you find out what was done in class and complete your assignments
promptly. You will be given opportunities to earn extra credit.
Tests:
You are expected to be in class on the day of a test. You will be allowed to make up one missed test without
penalty. After that, 10% of your score will be taken for each late test. (Exception: If you are truant on the
test day, you will receive an automatic zero on the test). Mist tests must be made up within one week
following the absence during LAKER TIME, or after school by appointment, or by the last day of the term.
Don’t Cheat! Cheating will result in an automatic zero and phone calls home (yes, you will get to talk to your
parents/guardians and so do I) If cheating occurs a second time, the student will fail the entire term during which
the cheating occurred.
