Grading Policy
Grades for each grading period will be
calculated as follows:
 10% Classwork/Notebook
20% Homework (Assigned daily)
30% Quizzes (One or two day notice)
40% Test (Announced well in advance)
20% Semester Exam
(The semester exam is 20% of the semester
grade: 1st 9wks = 40%, 2nd 9wks = 40%, &
Semester exam = 20%)
Notebook (Three Ring Binder)
Three Sections:
1. Homework (date with date assigned)
2. Warm-Up/Classwork/Class Notes
3. Quizzes/Fantastic Five Test
*All assignments in each section must
be arranged in chronological
order.
Make-Up Work for Absences Only!
Students must make up all work
missed in this course within 2 days of
the absence. Students are responsible
for getting make-up assignments out of
the make-up folder, from the homework
website or by calling the homework
hotline and for approaching the teacher
for after school tutoring if needed.
After school help is available most
Thursdays from 2:30 PM until 3:30 PM
in Room 708.
