OUTCOME/Next Steps
Received over 400 submissions. Four members agreed to help sort and vote on them. The deadline for printing
the flag is March 1st. She will contact Sergeant Art so the flag can be in San Diego
Submitted all documents submitted to Suzanna, designer. Need to work on getting permissions for photos and
students artwork. Hoping to get it published by March 14th. Need to have something about YAM and the BWI
show. It can be in the next issue. We need to get info of our activities out to the group so people know.

OUTCOME/Next Steps
Michael Lamason and Gayle Danley PD event flyer is ready to go. Waiting on the Paypal account to start
registration. The username and password for current Paypal account is not working. Eleni will talk to Lori about
Paypal Account. March 15th will be at Miller’s Court. Gino will send Sarah jpeg of save the date. Sarah will post on
Facebook page. Clay workshop will be at art center in Columbia.
Pat will talk to the Visionary to do MAEA tail gate at kinetic sculpture race – May 3
Proposal submitted to committee to have in-house person come up with web page design for faster updates and
edits, multiple people will have access. Christopher is the web master for MAEA Massachusetts. Proposal is 100%
editable. Email any other questions about proposal to Christopher.
Originally, we paid a one-time design fee and a monthly maintenance fee. This will give us more autonomy –
Christopher would be new webmaster. The fees are approximately the same as before.
Sarah made a motion to accept Christopher’s proposal, Brittany second the motion. Motion passed.
Current webmaster will be dismissed. We need a timeline from Christopher of how long the re-design will take.
Web team committee will get together before the next meeting to discuss new web design.
Discussion on membership survey Sarah created based on NAEA. Does MAEA have an official address? People
always use Eleni’s email. Sarah is willing to create an MAEA email and check on it every month. Sarah is planning
on sending it to people who renew or new members. Sarah use google survey. Sarah will look at old survey that
was sent out to compare results and refine questions. We will discuss at the next meeting
“Imagine All the People” at BWI youth art gallery in the observation deck. Installing April 15th. April 11th is deadline
– will hang April until November. A flyer will be sent out to all supervisors with specs. It is a juried show. There is
only one frame per county.
Ideas for future – possibly in fall, based around theme, hook it to teacher awards
