What is the Exodus? (Bite)
• People of Israel end up in slavery to the
Egyptians
• The Lord calls Moses to lead them out of
bondage
• They wander in the wilderness for 40 years
• The enter into the promised land
Why the Exodus?
• What does the Exodus represent to the people
of Israel? (Chew)
– Fulfilling of the covenant of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob
– Had they stayed in Egypt, they may have been
completely exterminated
• What does the Exodus mean to us? (Swallow)
– It represents our journey through life, to the
Celestial kingdom.
