Hello peeps and welcome to the introduction of my review! This time I am going to tell
about the Ez-Flash Vi, which is very good! I remember their old Ez-Flash I have. And I
loved it as my first flashcard. Their support is VERY nice too! When I asked as a little
boy which didn´t even want to try they said, okay please send us some review samples! I
did and well here it is. Well I do not want to get off-topic now so let’s starts!
So who made this card?
The Ez-Flash team is the creator of this card, and according to their box of their card, this
team exists since 2001. That means these guys can be professionals! Yeah they started As a
team that created Game-Boy Advance flashcards. So I have high expectations from this card
and its team!
my first impressions about Ez-Flash vi,
Not so good... real time save did not work very well in Tetris ds(game that I tested) other
games had the same issue and yeah this card is not bad, but its real time save needs to be
perfectionized by the team. of course they occasionally release updates but still. Games like
Pokémon white work perfect so its competilety is okay. The sav map is very convenient;
making sav backups was never this easy! This card works without problem on any dsi! that’s
great too!
So what´s the problem with real-time save? I found out that NOTHING may move on your
screen if it does it freezes like on the movie! Further does the in-game menu work PERFECT!
In-Game menu tests with a SanDisk 2GB:

Pokémon Black and White: Pass real-time save works, soft reset as well.
Tetris ds: Soft Reset: Perfect: I should not use real time save…
Grand Theft Auto: Perfect all works perfect as long as the screen does not move.
Lufia COS: Perfect!
Nintendogs: Save: NO, reset yes!
Mario Party DS: Save: Blegh, reset yup.

Good one! I use it for my dsi xl! It works well and does not scratch your screen as well.

Burns sd cards for free! Nice ehm…
Ez-Flash Vi Real-Time Save:
Good built quality! It has been pulled together with glue, and it fits great in my DSI XL! The
SD slot is on the side, which is very good too!
Conclusion:
The box contains some lovely extra´s! Thanks ez-flash team! :-) Score 10/10
Software:
Main Menu
The software is in fact Moonshell Based (I believe so; it can be the old software too!) Bit it
works great on my DSI XL, the buttons are the best, BUT the touch part on my dsi and DS
phat are shitty. You have to less space to touch so you touch at the wrong places. That’s a
con, but the pro is that it is fast, and we have a save folder

The software is still very great for my feeling so I will not whine about the menu itself.
In-Game menu
Your sweet dream ends here, this is the most saddest thing in the whole card, The fact is
REAL-TIME save… it sucks to hard, if you have some animations on your screen E.g.
Pokémon, then I will freeze while saving!  That’s NOT cool! There is nothing that may
move on your screen or else it will freeze and you cannot start the game again. You’re forced
to reboot your ds and restart the game! The rest of the in-game menu works very well! Do not
use soft-reset too much, it will break your sd card.
In-game menu combination:
Press: A+B+R+L
The walkthroughs work as well, I have not tested it yet, but I’ll need to believe the team. But
youll first need to convert them to a specific format.
Cheats
Place an urscheat.dat in your EZ5Shell folder and done!
Competilety of games and homebrew
Nice everything works except for some homebrew, but that’s standard for most cards. And
most new games work as well!
Final Results:
Nice, 7/10! Not everything is perfect yet, but it works. Real-time save sucks. But you´ll need
to find your way through the menu, since I cannot help you anymore from here.
Special things on the card:
Update? WTF!? Ehm yeah the internal kernel from efvi is updatable! YEAH! So we can
surpass the Dsi updates can we? Yes we can! Anything more? Nah not really…
Final Conclusion!
This card reserves a GREAT for the packaging, the software is good too, I had not much to
tell about so yeah this it! :-)
Score: 10+7=17:2=8.5
8.5 means GREAT! It´s worth buying this card!
