For this assignment, you will be randomly assigned an interest group to research. The entire list is
on the back page for your reference. You are required to prepare PowerPoint outline on the interest
group assigned to you. You will have a slide assigned to each number.
 For your assigned interest group, research the following topics:
1) Use Google and find the website for the group. Identify your group.

What is their history? When was the group founded?
What is the mission/purpose of the group?
2) What current issues is your group is concerned with? Searching “Google News” will also help
you find information on what issue(s) your interest group has been involved with most recently.
Summarize the issues that your group has concerned itself with.
3) What is the group’s political ideology?

Does it favor one political party over the other? If so, does it have a history of supporting
certain political candidates?
