Space Exploration
Second graders are passionate
about space and are conducting their
own ‘space exploration’ by reading
about and researching the planets,
the moon phases, our solar system,
fractions, day and night and the
seasons!
Be watching for more details to come
soon about how they will be
presenting this information!
I Can:
•Identify and use: compound words
•Make new observations when there is
disagreement among initial observations.
•Draw pictures and write brief descriptions
that correctly portray key features of an
object.
•Investigate by observing and then
describe that some events in nature have
a repeating pattern, such as seasons, day
and night, and migrations.
