The 25th Israeli HR Congress
Intro
Dear managers,
The heart of the 25th annual conference of the HR community in Israel is set to fit
our core beliefs:
Human Business where people meet themselves as human beings, authentic, service
oriented, lovable. Businesses encouraging and nurturing a culture that matches
personal values , relationships, sense of belonging. Businesses who know the
benefits of joy, desire for happiness, need for recognition, respect, along with the
need for meaning , personal growth and professional challenges , clear goals, a fair
wage and the most important - responsive business and open the door to broader
society , mood , new trends , progress.
Businesses in which employees want good managers, the most talented colleagues
and appropriate CEOs ensuring company's future. Businesses in which we feel
belonging, caring , involved , identifying with company's vision , highly motivated , of
which a new leadership emerges ..
These aspects represent the aspects of "soft" human resource management which
today, researchers and management experts Identify as having a direct and decisive
impact on the business success of organizations.
When motivation increases, when we develop a stronger culture of togetherness,
and when we develop an appropriate, inductive, inspirational and supportive
leadership…we are ensuring and increasing the chance of the financial success of our
organization.
We all want this.
What a connection!
Our professional education, what was important to us when we chose the career of
managing people, along with a deep understanding of the business and the business
of our organizations.
Rather, our ability to continue to lead and implement all the issues requires catching
the changing needs of the people - that, in light of new trends in business
management, the social, economic, demographic, innovative technologies,
communications, social media and the development of knowledge.
1
We could mentioned for example the generations at work , human diversity, new
and innovative technologies which appears almost every day proposing new tools
for learning, immediate catching of every bit of knowledge and gossip, available, and
immediate media of all with all, with a complete exposure to everyone.
We could also mentioned the rising power and influence of the new individual , one
who wants a fascinating professional career , sufficient , proper income , along with
freedom to manage private life , open space for free and open communication at all
times , time for himself and his family. Employees associations to protect their rights
and more.
All these have given rise to new methodological, conceptual changes, insights, and
ways of relating to other approaches.
This requires learning.
Be prepared for a new deal, different, correct and matching the new realities in
which we live.
The 25th HR annual congress will support the achievement of these goals.
The 25th Annual congress embraces the dramatic changes in our world and applies
them into its content, structure and schedule.
All together, everyone talks to everyone, everyone learns from everyone, everyone
dance with everyone, happy with all of them…and all at a faster pace.
Our team of speakers - speaks for itself. Local and international leading experts.
Most of the 25th annual congress will take place at the plenary session, two sessions
each day and in between a panel of experts.

Riccardo Donelli , Associate Partner, Advisory, PwC Italy
In our dynamic world, which also includes rapid technological change, the
role of HR is transforming.
Yet, despite this, it is not common for HR departments to participate in the
strategic decision making process in many companies.
There are a variety of reasons that HR are not effectively playing this role.
These include the difficulties in demonstrating the business value of people,
a huge amount of operational and administrative tasks that need to be
performed, and a perceived distance between the HR department and other
employees working in the company.
In order for HR departments to be a leading player and influence strategic
issues relating to people, HR managers must lead the change and embrace
the new generation of HR Technology solutions.
These solutions are changing the game, shortening the distance, making it
easier to show the business value and improving HR processes, but are we
ready for this change? Are we going to capture the value on time?
In this lecture we will understand how HR managers can take advantage of
the available technology in order to encourage innovation and enthusiasm
amongst themselves, their employees, and their management teams to
bring about business success.
