A vertebrate is an animal with a backbone.
An invertebrate is an animal without a backbone.
3. Life Cycle/example
A life cycle is the stages an animal goes through in its life.
4. Metamorphosis - it is a physical change from one thing to another
(frogs, butterflies)
5. Adaptations
-a change in an animal that makes it better able to survive in particular
environment (sharp teeth – eating, camouflage, strong sense of smell)
6. What are things that we can do to help protect animals?
-stop destroying their habitats
