• operating structure - organized and intuitive
• use the storyboarding technique where storyboarding is a
small sketch that represents every page in a site; like a
flowchart, a storyboard shows the relationship of each page
to the other pages in the website and are very helpful in the
planning phase because they allow you to visualize how
each page in the site is linked to others

• online shopping is more intuitive and just easier to do
than it used to be
• while online shopping rated favorably with a majority of
holiday shoppers in December 2002, overall satisfaction
is down when compared with last year; the conclusion
is that online consumer expectations are continuing to
rise as users become more web savvy; elements tested
included look and feel, navigation elements,
performance, privacy features, order processes and the
retailers' return policies (IDG News Service, Dec. 2002)
