Introduction
I have worked as a project manager for creating work plans for IT implementation in an
IT organization which was in California, United States. This project was an essential one in the
case of mitigating the risks in IT organization and it was to produce the deliverable advantages to
entire branches of IT organization. The creation of work plans for IT implementation was to
execute the process improvement throughout the life of process improvements in this project.
This paper introduces about project management and the importance of project management to
business world. The project management was the discipline of motivating, organizing, and
controlling the resources for the achievement of specific IT organizational goals.
This paper also details the project life-cycle of creating the work plans for IT
implementation and the project life cycle of IT implementation included the initiating, planning,
executing, monitoring, and closing plans for IT implementation. The creation of IT
implementation included the stakeholder analysis, project charter, scope statement, approach
analysis for the implementation of work plans in IT organization. These were also considered to
be the benefits of project life cycle for the implementation of work plans for an IT organization.
The concepts of planning in project life cycle were an essential one for the success of
implementing work plans in IT organization. IT organization work plans needed concept,
development, implementation, and close-out for the creation of work plans. This paper included
the IT project organization and importance of leadership and sponsorship for the creation of
work plan in IT organization. The leadership and sponsorship were considered to be the vehicles

This paper evaluates the process of project team building, such as techniques of success
team building. The project team was an essential group for the execution of IT organizational
tasks for meeting the customer requirements. The project team building included the resource
planning for the success of IT organizational work plans. The project work resource plan in IT
organization identified the work for the completion of IT goals and objectives. The project team
building process needed the skills, level of influence, network access, effective participation, and
ability of team environment for the creation of IT organizational work plans.
This project also examines the creation of work breakdown structure and how a project
manager breaks down the overall project into packages in IT organization. The work breakdown
formed the basis of IT organization and the coordination of team building in the IT project. This
paper concludes the details of project management software which had a capacity for helping
plan, manage, organize, and develop resource estimates. The project manager created the work

planning in order to create work plans for the implementation of information technology. The
work breakdown structure determined the major deliverables, including, training program
design, trained instructor. These above could identify the vulnerabilities and influences of
creating the work plans in IT organization.
The project manager breaks down the project into packages by means of implementing
the pitfalls, level of work package details, tasks, WBS scheduling, updating the WBS, and
project hierarchy. These above helped to clarify the specific of project team members for
completing the work. The rolling wave planning increased the level of project packages in IT
organization and also it could keep the project issues for converting into packages. The project
manager must have to micromanage the project and slow down project progress for converting
the overall projects into packages.
Project management software
The project management software had a capacity for the organization and the
management of resource estimation. The software included the estimation and planning, cost
control, collaboration software, decision making, and administration systems in large integrated
programs. The task and activities of project management software included the scheduling and
providing information.

The project management software also supported for multiple dependency relationship,
resource assignment, cost accounting, critical path methods. It could also provide the information
about evidence, cost maintenance, optimum utilization, historical information on projects, and
offering communication for project enhancement. The project management could provide the
ability for forecasting methods and it could project paths by having graphs, charts, and various
graphical depictions. Project management organization enabled the team works and also helped
organizational leaders by displaying necessary information for them. It could enhance the
productivity and customer satisfaction within IT organization. Moreover, it could identify the
problems within the project teams and project management.
Conclusion
The project management played a vital role in enhancing and making value of projects in IT
organization. The project management and its importance to the business world was an effective
for project growth within the organizations. The project life-cycle management and benefits of
project management to an organization were described above and those points affected project
positively. The concepts of planning in the project life cycle were innovative in order to create
work plans in an organization. The importance of leadership and sponsorship showed its
effectiveness to IT organizations. The team work and work break down structure were derived
effectively for the enhancement of IT projects.
