The written examination:
The written examination will be extracts taken from articles analysed during lessons, with exercises on vocabulary, grammar and comprehension. Candidates are expected to show a working knowledge of reading strategies, together with a familiarity with the key lexical items and situations explored during the lessons.
The oral examination:
Candidates choose ONE of the articles in the programme and are expected to be able to discuss this article at length.
The examiner will then choose AT LEAST TWO more articles which the candidate must be able to discuss. Candidates must have prepared the complete, relevant programme.
