Step 1
1. Get registered here at Owlish Oracle

Go to your own box called "Grandparents" go to this page

Join Us and register by following the steps.

2. Wait until the admin team from Owlish Oracle approves you
After the Owlish Oracle team looks at your profile they will approve you (only after verifying
the authenticity of your credentials).

Then they will provide you with a meeting room (adobe connect meeting room) to conduct
classes and provide grand-parenting sessions.
i.
A unique id and password will be shared with you at this step.
iii.
A document containing all the navigation guidance will also be shared by the admin team
which will help you to facilitate an easy navigation through the website.
3. Once you are in your dashboard follow the next steps.
Step 2
1. First 3 Things to do here:
Write a 'Post' in order to advertise the dates, time, class and the subjects you are willing to
teach in the form of "Supplementary Tuition" to individual child.
ii.
Once you receive a reply to the specific posts, you view the student's name and 'Add the
Connection' from "My Profile" by adding him/her as a friend. Then exchange messages
through Owlish Oracle or through SMS and confirm dates and times for classes.
iii.
'Schedule a Class' from "My Activities>Provide Supplementary Tuition" page on a specific
time and date.

You have to always schedule a class before a minimum of 1 hour.
2. For Teaching Learning Materials :
Supplementary Tuition : In order to teach students/children individually, if you have to use
any supporting documents then create your own material in your desktop and share it directly
from Adobe Connect meeting room (following the instructions of adobe). Make sure the files
are in the following format : For texts ->use powerpoint presentation (ppt) &/or pdf formats ;
for audio -> use mp3 formats; for video -> use mp4 formats; and for images-> use jpeg, gif,
png file formats. Zipfiles can also be used.

Curriculum Based teaching In Virtual_Classroom : In order to teach students at the
schools through curriculum, at first view the specific materials through the 'Curriculum' tree
structure which is provided on the right side of the 'ROUTINE' page. You have to view this in
order to arrive at an understanding of the days' objectives, the learning outcomes of each of
the lessons and the teaching learning materials used for facilitating the whole process. After
this go to the Adobe Connect meeting room, browse through your computer to find the folder
shared by Owlish Oracle during registration, find the specific days' folder and upload those
materials in adobe connect to deliver your teaching for that specific day/s/week/month even.

3. After you complete your scheduling, go to "Routine", click on the class you want to take, and
join the session.
4. Once you join the session, you are taken to the Adobe Connect meeting room to take
classes.
You enter in this room as a "HOST" using the unique id and password that were provided to you during
registration. Please read through the user manual very minutely and follow the steps, otherwise you may
not be able to conduct classes.

Once you enter in this room you will have a whiteboard which you will have to use to teach.
Or, you can use interesting Teaching Learning Material (which is already mentioned above) to
teach them.

You have to ensure all the technical details like camera and its placement, the microphone
and its sound and all other instructions as are mandated in the manual of adobe connect.
Each of the classes will be of 40 minutes to 1 hour after which your sessions will expire and
you have to exit the meeting room by "ending the meeting".

Broadcast Grand-parenting sessions which could be anything that you want to share with
children. It could be moral stories, sewing/singing/painting classes, sharing stories on
mythologies or great personalities, or simply listening to the talks of the children.
Write Blogs as well as read other’s blogs and leave a comment here at owlish Oracle about
your experiences, feelings or anything significant.
