growth and capital commitment, MC has become a leader in contract
manufacturing for OEM accounts. Our 100,000 square foot plant in Grand
Rapids, Michigan offers close-tolerance, precision metal fabrication with the

MC employs an Advanced Planning & Scheduling
system which goes far beyond traditional MRP
approaches to production control.
The APS
system allows MC superior control over production
activities.
Going beyond APS, MC uses utilization and
efficiency reports (historical and current) to
establish needs and identify and eliminate
bottlenecks. Advanced Throughput Tools based
on Eli Goldratt’s Theory of Constraints provide
detailed views into potential bottlenecks and
overall shop floor activity, allowing our capacity
management team to make highly informed
decisions.
We also make extensive use of a Kanban system
for our primary materials.
