GMS GYMNASTICS 2014-2015 RULES & POLICIES
Tuition


Tuition is due by the last class of the month for the upcoming 2 months. We accept cash, checks, MC, Visa, and
Discover.
Please include the gymnast’s name on all forms of payment.
There is a 10% discount off the 2nd and 3rd child. Discount taken off the lesser tuitions.
In the event that GMS has to take steps beyond invoicing to collect unpaid payments, each family will be
responsible for the interest at the maximum lawful rate from the due date payment, costs of collection, and
reasonable attorney fees.
GMS will provide reminders when tuition is due, however timely payment is the responsibility of each family.

There will be a yearly Registration



fee of $55.00 which is charged upon student’s anniversary date
Late fee policy




A $20.00 late fee per child will apply for all payments received on the 1st of the month.
If payment is not received in a timely manner, you will be notified of a late fee via email.
A child will not be allowed to participate in a class if tuition is not paid after the 2nd class attended.
GMS reserves the right to go to its waiting list if tuition is not paid after the 10 th.
Return Check


There will be a $35.00 charge for all returned checks in addition to a $20.00 late fee per child.
A cash only policy will go into effect for checks returned more than twice.
Transferring Classes




Transferring classes is permitted so long as there is space available in the class you wish to transfer to and it is
arranged through the front desk. Transferring classes is a privilege. GMS reserves the right to refuse transfers if
and/or when this privilege has been abused.
GMS will allow families to make changes to day and time of current class 1 time per payment period. Any
additional changes must be approved through the front office, fees may occur for more than 2 changes.
(this does not apply to a coach recommended move.)
Forms can be downloaded online or obtained through the front office. Forms must be submitted to the front office
for confirmation of transfer.
Cancellation & Replacement of classes

GMS reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment and replace instructors for any class at any time.
Make- ups


There are NO REFUNDS, DISCOUNTS OR PRORATES if the student is absent. (sick, out of town, etc.)
Make-ups are only for children that have extended illness; injuries (only with a dr.’s note) must be approved
through front office. Make-up passes for a closing due to inclement weather can be found at GMSKIDS.com
should GMS close. GMS does not follow school closings.
Placement of Students




It is GMS’s sole discretion for placement of all students.
Students must be evaluated by a Master Instructor for all “by invitation only” classes.
Student and parents will be notified of a child’s placement if needed.
GMS reserves the right to cancel a student or family’s membership at any time.
Safety





Parents & siblings are to view from the observation areas and are not allowed on the floor or equipment.
Smoking is prohibited on the grounds of GMS.
Jewelry is strictly prohibited while performing gymnastics.
Parents are not to coach their child while under the supervision of the GMS staff and coaches.
For privacy reasons, there is absolutely no video or photography during class time. Video and pictures can be
taken during birthday parties or special events.
Responsibility of Students After Class



GMS does not provide a baby-sitting service before or after class time.
Students must be picked up on time. A $25 fee will be charged for all children picked up 10 minutes after
class unless the office is notified. Students are not to wait outside for their ride. The last GMS class will
be dismissed at 8:30 pm.
For liability reasons parents may not drop children off before class begins.
