How to Set Up Email on Multiple Mobile Devices

There are many types of mobile devices. The email settings to connect to Vmail are the same. However, some may ask
for Domain\Username which would be Vanderbilt\VUnet ID and some will ask for Domain/Username in separate fields.






Email address - your full Vanderbilt email address
Server address - email.vanderbilt.edu (note: on an iphone if it does not work, change server address to
legacy.vanderbilt.edu)
Domain - Vanderbilt
Username - vunetid (lower case letters)
Password - epassword
This server requires an encrypted SSL connection
From the menu on the phone, the selections can be different when adding an account, depending on the type of
phone. Some may show Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, Microsoft Outlook, Corporate
Exchange, Corporate Sync or Enterprise.
