To assist in raising the profile of, and increasing target market engagement with, the services provided by AHS through a range of marketing channels, including social media. To develop and amend a series of marketing materials and templates using programmes such as InDesign. To support the AHS Marketing team with a range of digital marketing activities To support the Marketing Manager with events, promotions, campus dressing, copy writing, awareness building activities and general marketing requirements Liaise with both in-house and external agencies To support the Marketing team with research, benchmarking of competitors and tracking of marketing activities Source and nature of management provided Marketing Management Staff management responsibility None Special conditions Some evening and weekend work may be required. Walking across Campus outlet / Hall c=visits and campus dressing Main duties and responsibilities 1 Support Digital Marketing activities i) ii) iii) 2 Alongside the Digital Content Editor help maintain the variety of social media accounts run by AHS. Support the department’s content marketing strategy by researching and writing blog posts. Working with students to produce content for the website and social media channels. Research, benchmarking and tracking i) ii) iii) Assist with regular benchmarking exercises and competitor analysis to ensure the AHS is aligned with key competitors Support the marketing team when they carry out market research and make suggestions based on findings with how AHS could edge ahead of the industry norm. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and report back Human Resources Page 1 16/03/2016 iv) v) 3 Design and copywriting i) ii) iii) iv) 4 Use design software (such as InDesign) to create new marketing communications and edit pre-existing templates. This could include posters, table talkers, information notices and flyers that are on brand and consistently reflect the department. Support the Digital Content Editor at peak times with the creation of artwork for the outlet digital signage. Editing and uploading images and share engaging and inspirational images Assist with copy writing where required Events and awareness building activities i) 5 Monitor AHS marketing communications across campus to ensure all marketing is on brand and consistent. Assist with the recording of findings from feedback sessions and focus groups Assisting with the preparation and organisation of events, awareness building activities campus dressing and campus wide promotions throughout the year. General Marketing Support i) ii) iii) Liaise with in house and external agencies and assist the Marketing Manager with the collection of quotes as required. Carry out campus dressing Provide general marketing support for additional marketing activities as required. You will from time to time be required to undertake other duties of a similar nature as reasonably required by your line manager.
