million. Directly oversaw the morale, welfare, discipline, and career development off all members of the
organization.
 Developed low-cost construction and heavy equipment engineering support solution for the Office of
Naval Research’s Modular Composite Bridge Program high-heat test conducted by University of
California, San Diego Structural Engineering Department. Saved U.S. Government $1 million in test
expenses.
 Project Manager for a safety-related initiative involving identification and reduction of risky behaviors
resulting in inordinate number of Marines being killed or injured. Reduced incidences by 50% in first
six months.
Operations Center Watch Team Lead (Active Duty)

Served as a Current Operations Watch Officer leading a team of operations analysts in the Current
Operations Center, Multinational Force West, during a period of high operational tempo and transition.
Tracked and reported all operational ground activity, involving over 25,000 personnel in Al Anbar
Province of Iraq.




organizations with the intent of enhancing support turnaround times. Requests were numerous, with
turnaround times often measured in minutes and with a high degree of urgency.

workflows and eliminating redundancies of effort, cutting turnaround times in half. Received Navy

Executive Assistant to the General Officer directing all U.S. theater security cooperation efforts in the
Horn of Africa. Maintained a rigorous schedule, including regular liaison with the staffs of numerous U.S.
embassies in Africa and the Middle East, major U.S. military commands, and senior leadership within the
U.S. Department of Defense and State Department. Additional duties included speechwriting, press
interview preparation, and generation of all official and social correspondence from the office.
 Oversaw all protocol related activities for the organization, directing and supervising the work of the
Protocol Officer. Events included Congressional Delegation visits, engagements with U.S. and foreign
ambassadors and other diplomatic officials, and U.S and foreign general officer visits.

milestones from concept to fielding/completion in the Marine Corps’ primary acquisition organization.
Ensured compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Marine Corps and Department of
Defense directives. Oversaw all finance processes including planning, programming, budgeting, and
execution (PPBE) for projects ranging from $5 to $45 million. Provided budgeting input to organization's
contribution to the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process. Led a team of government and
contract acquisition professionals consisting of subject matter experts in finance, logistics, engineering,
contracting, and programmatic support.
 Provided regular acquisition subject-matter expertise and demonstration assistance to the Naval
Research Lab and the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab on numerous experimental concepts and
technologies.
 Served as Deputy Program Manager and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for a $45
million construction project undertaken to rehabilitate a new facility and moving 2,000 civilian and
military personnel from 26 facilities to 1. Project received additional $25 million in development funds
for management efficiency. Received a Letter of Commendation from the Secretary of the Navy.
