Assessment
• Assignments
– Two assignments worth 20% each
– Require statistical calculations (showing
all working) and discussion and
interpretation of results
– Must be submitted online: files must be
Microsoft Word or RTF format only
– Must be individual work
– Plagiarism will be penalised according
to faculty and university policy
Assessment
• Final exam
– Worth 60%
– Must pass exam (at least 30 out of 60)
and get 50% of marks overall (exam +
assignments) to pass course
– Structure of exam will be detailed on the
course website
– Sample exam will be placed on course
website
– Exam will be discussed in more detail
later in term
