OUR MANDATE
o Harness talent and energy of Ivey students to make a positive impact on
NPOs and the community
o Develop business leaders who will contribute to their communities by
exposing students to responsible, leading for-profit organizations
o Develop a strong sense of business ethics and community involvement
o Encourage students to think about sustainable development, corporate social
responsibility, and community involvement from a business perspective

WHAT IS CCP?
“The Community Consulting Project is a program that matches Ivey Business School students
with local NPOs to undertake pro-bono consulting projects under the guidance of advisors from
global consulting firm, Accenture.”
HOW IT WORKS
9 teams consisting of 4 HBA1 students and 1-2 Accenture advisors
2-month program duration from October 1 – December 4
6-week project engagement from October 12 – November 23
RESULTS
 Final presentation to NPO client
 Deliverables (written report and/or PPT deck)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee program logistics
• Co-ordinate with NPOs, Accenture, Ivey, HBA1s, CCP
Alumni, and media
• Hold weekly calls to track progress and provide guidance
to students throughout the engagement
• Answer questions about consulting and Accenture
• Collaborate weekly with client and advisors to research,
analyze, and deliver recommendations
• Update directors with progress and concerns
• Be readily available to provide feedback and information to
students via phone/email/in-person
• Attend opening and closing ceremonies
