Disk to disk backups with off-site
replication – The backup solution performs an initial backup, thereafter only backing up the changes in files and databases using incremental patching. As a result your backups are always up to date and available for restores. Your data is also replicated offsite as an additional security measure.
Application specific backups – The backup solution can safely backup open files and databases like Exchange, SQL, Sharepoint,
Oracle, Sybase and Lotus Domino using API specific plug-ins.
Secure – Transfer and storage of information is secure. SSL is used for secure communication between the backup clients and the storage platform. 1024 bit RSA key exchange, 128 bit RC4 stream cipher and
SHA-1 integrity checking are also done. Data is stored securely using AES encryption.
Backup account encryption keys are not stored with the data.
