environments”– a tenet of middle school philosophy,
which advocates for team building, community
responsibility, and independent self-direction” (Jackson &

Communication Forms
• Using grid paper, students
brainstorm various forms of
communication styles – learners
circulate room sharing/collecting
ideas from each other.
