Job Summary Reporting to the Manager of Business Programs and Projects, the incumbent is responsible for the design and development of PowerPoint presentations for the Diversity and Intercultural training program. This position will work collaboratively with the Curriculum Designer to translate script content and graphics into effective PowerPoint presentations as well as the effective design and layout of training documents. Qualifications and Experience: Post-secondary education in Design, Marketing, Interactive Multimedia or Communications. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. 2 years of experience designing and developing presentations and formatting documents. Exceptional attention to detail in graphics, layout and typography Demonstrated design skills suitable for corporate environments. Client-service oriented; possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to the journey of new immigrants from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines, while efficiently performing tasks independently and as a part of a dynamic culturally diverse team. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (especially PowerPoint) Photoshop/Illustrator, Smart Draw or similar programs. Demonstrated value for and understanding of principles of diversity. Knowledge of a second language is an asset. Option to telecommute or work from the Manitoba Start Office.
