The university is situated 2.5 Km from Aizu-Wakamatsu station. It takes about 10 minutes by taxi (around 1000 yen) or 25 minutes walking. For more detailed information how to arrive to the University of Aizu please check the official university website http://www.uaizu.ac.jp/e-access.html Aizu Wakamatsu Train Station Aizu Wakamatsu Washington Hotel 11 The registration desk is open starting from 8.00 a.m. It is located in the South Lounge on the second floor of the Research Quadrangle (please see the Campus Map below). Opening and closing ceremonies and keynote sessions are held in the UBIC 3D Theatre and the Lecture hall. Presentations are held in rooms S3, S4, and S5 located on the second floor of the Research Quadrangle. The welcome reception is hosted in Keyaki restaurant located on the second floor of the Student Hall of the University. The MCSoC-14 banquet is held at Washington Hotel. Shuttle-Bus is available from the UoA to the Hotel (Refer to the Shuttle-Bus time table below). Volunteers from the University of Aizu students will be available on campus to assist the participants and answer their questions.
