WaterMarke Realty Group, LLLP

homes. Queen’s Harbour Yacht & Country Club is a unique development in Jacksonville
which is built around both a golf course and a freshwater lock-controlled harbor and
marina, the only such development on the US East coast. We subsequently created
another entity, WaterMarke Realty Group LLLP to market real estate outside Queen’s
Harbour due to trademark license restrictions. With these companies we are able to
provide a full range of professional real estate services including:
 Residential real estate sales and acquisitions
 Commercial real estate sales and acquisition
 Investment real estate services and business brokerage
 Property Management: residential, commercial and investment property
 Leases and lease-purchases
 Foreclosure and short sales assistance
With these companies, I led the development of a professional services model
rather than a typical real estate sales office. With this approach, I wrote a policy and
procedure manual and established a professional performance model and compensation
plan for independent contractors / agents.

IHA Holdings, Inc.
Ice House America, LLC and related companies
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO I was responsible for all financial and accounting aspects of one of NE
Florida’s fastest growing companies. Ice House America LLC under its trademarked
Twice the Ice® brand is the manufacturer and distributor of revolutionary ice vending
machines that has changed the way bagged and bulk ice is sold. Ice House America Ice
Vending Machines and Ice Vending Huts are patented (U.S. Patent No. 6,932,124 and
U.S. Patent No. 7,104,291), free standing ice vending machines that automatically
dispense, at a press of a button, 16 pounds bagged or 20 pounds bulk ice cubes to a
customer in about 8 seconds. IHA is headquartered in Jacksonville FL with
manufacturing facilities in Moultrie GA.
Achievements as CFO included converting the accounting for 30+ entities from a
tax based system to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) on a
consolidated basis. I also directed the entities’ first independent audit in accordance with
Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and established the companies first coordinated
budget system. I led the financial and accounting aspects of creating and selling the
companies to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), which included the merger of
certain entities, reorganization of certain entities and the spin-off of others.

IBM
 Principal, Business Consulting Services: Human
Capital Solutions, IBM Global Services
 Americas Licensing Manager for Intellectual
Property: IBM Global Services, Asset Innovation
I came to IBM as a principal in the newly created Collaborative Commerce
practice within IBM Global Services. In this role, we were focused on integration of
knowledge management, collaboration, content management, and training and
education into the internal and external web-based interfaces and collaborative
infrastructure. This practice evolved into the On-Demand Workplaces® solution for IBM
I then became a business strategy consulting lead manager focused on learning
and development initiatives including learning management systems and On-Demand
C. Douglass Izard, page 3
Workplaces® for significant enterprises in the banking and financial markets industries
within the financial services sector. I co-managed a practice team consisting of 50+
senior consultants in the learning and development solutions area. I led an integrated
learning strategy consulting engagement for a major financial services firm. My team
assisted enterprises in a broad range of learning activities from online and distant
learning engagements (development and delivery) to creation of corporate universities. I
also led efforts within the financial services sector for IBM’s Management Development
services offering, which is a blended learning solution based on IBM’s own heralded
management development program. I was the lead for the learning and development
initiative within a $5 billion strategic outsourcing contract which included training for
80,000 end users. The learning component was estimated at $45 million and included
learning management of 11 global training sites and management of instructor-led and
on-line and off-line web based development and delivery of training for new users and
new technological innovations training for all systems end users.
I then transitioned into a newly created position as Americas Licensing Manager
for Intellectual Property where we took IBM-created intellectual assets, hardened them
and created solutions for major customers of IBM. My responsibility included the
licensing of these intellectual assets as a separate offering distinct from software
technologies.
October, 1997 to June, 2002
KPMG, LLP
Chief Knowledge Officer – Americas, and
National Director, Tax Knowledge Management
Washington, DC
Chief Knowledge Officer – Americas, responsible for leadership of knowledge
management initiatives for the America’s Region of KPMG, LLP. This area included
Canada, United States, Latin America and Australia. I worked with geographic and
functional CKO’s and KM directors in collaborative leveraging of the various KM
initiatives and represented the region in global KM activities. I was part of the global
team which created, developed, implemented and delivered KPMG’s KWORLD. This
initiative was a global web-based system allowing partners and employees to log onto
an intranet system which recognized the user by geographical location and role based
identification resulting in a customized intranet for the individual user.
As National Director I was responsible for developing and implementing the
internal and external tax knowledge and information sharing systems for KPMG's U. S.
Tax Practice. This included the integration of research and the internal and external
publications with the firm's technical expertise in a system available to support
approximately 5,000 tax professionals in nearly 100 offices in the U. S.
Successfully developed and implemented a knowledge sharing system which in
one year gathered and filtered through the firm’s Tax Center of Excellence and resident
senior subject matter experts over 20,000 filtered technical documents, spreadsheets,
and presentations (professional work product). This work product was then shared
through an intranet WEB-based delivery system linked to all necessary legal authorities
including Internal Revenue Code, Federal Regulation and Court Cases. With this system
we eliminated 100 paper-based libraries across the U.S. and replaced them with
electronic research technologies. This knowledge sharing system received an
international award for innovation in knowledge management from the Delphi Group at
the International Knowledge Management Summit in San Diego in June, 1998.
Activities also included being a member of the e-Tax Solutions Strategy core
team that advised the tax practice on e-commerce direction. I also led the KPMG Global
Tax KM Network group in accomplishing its globalization objectives for knowledge

management and extranet development. In addition, I served as project lead on the
development of KPMGTax.Com external web site including WNTTax Web-TV broadcast.
Another significant responsibility was managing the relationship with content vendors for
current awareness and research materials including all legal and regulatory content.
Significant involvement in training including leading the development of eLearning
initiatives including internet, intranet, e-awareness, and electronic research.
