Provides electrical power to the LVAS during tethered operation, by connecting to an AC power source 2. Provides electrical power to the Display Module or System Monitor when either device is connected to the PM and the PM is plugged into AC power 3. Connects the Display Module / System Monitor to the System Controller for monitoring purposes 4. Echoes System Controller alarms Four components are required for tethered operation with the PM: 1) the PM itself, 2) a PM patient cable, 3) a PM power cord, and 4) a HeartMate II or XVE System Controller Power Module Patient Cable AC Cord 88 HM II System Controller
