Calls for Art Submissions:
MAC is seeking work of content having refined craftsmanship and contemporary
aesthetic merit. All shows at MAC are juried.
There are two ways to submit work to MAC:
1. Become a Professional Member for $120 per year (equivalent to just $10 per
month), which entitles you to submit work for consideration for juried thematic exhibits
without cost and be considered for exhibition of small works, art objects or functional
work throughout the year. Benefit from a variety of professional perks including
representation on our website, and in the gallery in digital format; receive discounts on
classes, events and services such as website design; Submit proposals to teach classes
or workshops; meet for feedback on your portfolio presentation with a MAC team
member (complimentary 20 minute meeting). Be a part of an exciting new art endeavor,
our catalog, and outreach developments!
2. Non-Members may submit work for consideration for an individual show: $30 for up to
3 pieces ($25 for Lake County residents), and $10 for each additional piece (nonrefundable).
DUE JULY 15: Nature/Art/Humanity - Art in dialogue with nature or exploring the
complex relationship between Nature and mankind - opens August 15 runs through Sept.

DUE SEPT 3: Portraits- An invitation to explore the identity of your subject opens
October 3 thru Nov. 15

Call for Sculpture: We will be installing several sculptures in the corner lot next to the
Center on a 3-4 month rotation. We are looking for submissions of works that are
dynamic, well crafted and suitable for the outdoors.
When joining as a member, please submit a selection of your current or strongest work.
We wan to see what you are doing, and it may inspire a thematic show. Please also
submit your Artist’s Statement, bio, photo (so people identify you at openings and
events) and resume. You can use the application on page 2 to assist you. All files must
be jpg’s about 1200 pixels on the longest side. Please see guidelines on page 2.
MAC was created to provide exhibition, teaching, and income opportunities for artists,
as well as cultural enrichment and enjoyment for the community at large and visitors to
Lake County. The MAC Team is a group of volunteers contributing time and energy to
make MAC a vibrant cultural center and sustainable regional asset. Join us! Be a part of
a new and exciting ART resource, here and now!
