Give them each 5-10 gold fish 2. Have them count aloud how many goldfish they have, and the colors 3. Let them enjoy their gold fish Singing in the Rain (body-kinesthetic and musical) Silly Songs- “Repeat After Me” Activity Directions 1. Tell them to repeat these words“I’m singing in the rain just singing in the rain what a glorious feeling…Ah… chity bop chity bop chity bop WOO chity bop chity bop chity bop WOO (then movement instructions one at a time)” 2. 1st- thumbs up 2nd- elbows back 3rd- knees together 4th- toes together 5th- butt out 6thhead back 7th- in a circle The Story Game (Intrapersonal/Interpersonal) Teacher’s Directions 1) Have the children make a straight line 2) Explain the instructions 3) Teacher write the story down and read it to them Rules: Take turns! And go down the line having everyone add one word to the story.
