• Why enroll in the BBA/MBA at KULeuvencampus Brussels?
• Our Faculty of Economics & Business –
campus Brussels is renowned for its
BUSINESS ORIENTATION
Your Education = Investment

capital investment project
• Why? Because the labor
market looks at you like that
Basic diploma = KNOWLEDGE
• Demonstrates that you KNOW
o
Applied economics / commercial sciences
International orientation= SKILLS

Role playing
Skills!
• Employers care about general
business skills that you will develop
o Analytical skills
o Communication and language skills
o Information processing skills
• They don’t care that much about
specific skills (can be learnt on site)
o E.g. PricewaterhouseCoopers’
approach to perform a financial or
IT audit
Extra = ATTITUDE
• “companies hire for attitude” (and train eventually for extra
skills)
• Signaling commitment towards an international programme
is always a plus
Career
• From a career perspective, you have
two major options
o
Become a specialist in a functional
discipline
o
Become a generalist and
understand the links between
various disciplines
Generalist or Specialist?
• The BBA-MBA/IBM offers both
o
This is a great experimentation
opportunity
o
You can still specialise afterwards
Our Programme
Is designed to take a helicopter view of a wide range of
intensive and specialized courses in all fields of relevance
to managers. It helps you acquire the hands-on
qualifications you need to pursue
o a management career in business or public service
o an entrepreneurial path

employed in financial, administrative, and commercial
departments of organizations and companies (e.g.
companies in the financial sector and management
consultancy firms). In the further stages of their careers,
they start to work on middle and higher management
levels.
• Some employers: Government – Banking Sector – Final
Four Audit & Consulting – International companies (CocaCola – Toyota/Honda – IBM – P&G/Unilever - SD Worx –
Siemens – Samsonite …) – own business
