DECLARATION
Submission of data at one entry point
 Information contained in Customs declarations will be re-used by PGAs.
 Formats for import and export declarations will be updated with
additional requirements.
 NSW Data Set - data will be filed at a single point (ICEGATE) as an
‘integrated declaration’.
 Trade does not have to approach different agencies and file different
forms/ checklists. Separate applications will be dispensed with.
 Will cover clearance-related applications, declarations of PGAs.
 Not an application for a license or permit.
AUTOMATED ROUTING
Upon filing, declarations will be routed automatically
to concerned agencies
Presently, it is based on CCRs and a manual decision
of the Customs officers

ports etc ‘push’ update notifications to a common
platform
 Platform publishes - trade and transport actors
subscribe to notification updates

 Platform also receives tracking facilities for vessels,
trains, vehicles, containers
 GPS & RFID based tracking services and sensor inputs
to be integrated into the platform
