READY……………GO! What is Culture? Culture is the way of life of a group of people who share similar beliefs and customs. What is important in our culture? Cultures Civilizations are highly developed cultures. When cultures spread their knowledge and skills from one area to another, it is a process known as Cultural Diffusion. Government The kind of government, or political system, a society has reflects its culture. Authoritarian Systems- One Ruler, unlimited power. Democracy- Citizens choose their leaders by voting. Language Languages spoken in a cultural region often belong to the same cultural family. Similar languages Romance languages- Latin, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Romanian.
