And it came to be, when men began to increase on the face of the
earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of Elohim saw
the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took wives for
themselves of all whom they chose. And ‫ יהוה‬said, “My Spirit shall not
strive with man forever in his going astray. He is flesh, and his days
shall be one hundred and twenty years.” The Nephilim were on the
earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of Elohim came
in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were
the mighty men who were of old, the men of name. And ‫ יהוה‬saw that
the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every
inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And
‫ יהוה‬was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was
grieved in His heart. And ‫ יהוה‬said, “I am going to wipe off man whom I
have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping
creature and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made
them.” But Noaḥ found favour in the eyes of ‫יהוה‬. (Genesis 6:1-8)
4
And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in
those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And
the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and
said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the
children of men and beget us children.' And Semjâzâ, who was their
leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed,
and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all
answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves
by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.'
Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual
imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who
descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and
they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound
themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names
of their leaders: Samîazâz, their leader, Arâkîba, Râmêêl, Kôkabîêl,
Tâmîêl, Râmîêl, Dânêl, Êzêqêêl, Barâqîjâl, Asâêl, Armârôs, Batârêl,
Anânêl, Zaqîêl, Samsâpêêl, Satarêl, Tûrêl, Jômjâêl, Sariêl. These are5
their chiefs of tens.
And
they
became
pregnant, and they bare
great giants, whose
height
was
three
thousand ells: Who
consumed
all
the
acquisitions of men.
And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against
them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and
beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and
drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless
ones.
6
And Azâzêl taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and
breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and
the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of
antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly
stones, and all coloring tinctures. And there arose much godlessness,
and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became
corrupt in all their ways.
• Semjâzâ taught enchantments, and root-cuttings,
• 'Armârôs the resolving of enchantments,
• Barâqîjâl (taught) astrology,
• Kôkabêl the constellations,
• Êzêqêêl the knowledge of the clouds,
• Araqiêl the signs of the earth,
• Shamsiêl the signs of the sun, and;
• Sariêl the course of the moon. And as men perished, they cried, and
their cry went up to heaven...

1. Secrets of Heaven: 5 You have seen what Azazyel has done, how
he has taught every species of iniquity upon earth, and has
disclosed to the world all the secret things which are done in the
heavens.
2. Evil Spirits: 8 Now the giants, who have been born of spirit and of
flesh, shall be called upon earth evil spirits, and on earth shall be
their habitation. Evil spirits shall proceed from their flesh, because
they were created from above; from the holy Watchers was their
beginning and primary foundation. Evil spirits shall they be upon
earth, and the spirits of the wicked shall they be called. The
habitation of the spirits of heaven shall be in heaven; but upon
earth shall be the habitation of terrestrial spirits, who are born on
earth. (24) 10They shall cause lamentation. No food shall they eat;
and they shall be thirsty; they shall be concealed, and shall not
(26) rise up against the sons of men, and against women; for they
come forth during the days of slaughter and destruction.
9
And ‫ יהוה‬said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever in his going
astray. He is flesh, and his days shall be one hundred and twenty
years.” (Genesis 6:3)
Even after the flood, men still lived to be 500 plus years old so what is
‫ יהוה‬talking about here? What ‫ יהוה‬was saying was that He would
destroy mankind with the flood in 120 years. Of further interest here is
that 120 is the numeric value of
• “l‟mayim” in Genesis 1:6, which means “from water”;
• “mo‟ed” or “appointed time” from Exodus 9:5;
• “am‟muwd” or “pillar” from Exodus 13:22;
• “Nisi”, “my Banner”, and;
• “v‟padah” or “and redeemed you”
At the appointed time your pillar and banner will redeem you from
water. No’ach and his family are a picture of that redemption.
The flood story is referred to in two of the Gospel accounts as an
indicator of end-times. In Matthew and Luke we read of end-times
being compared to “the days of Noah”, while Luke expands the
description of the times to include “the days of Lot”. Both Noah and
Lot were saved from massive judgments due to the violence and evil of
the people. Their stories have some similarities, but there are also
many differences.
1. Since both scenarios appear to be a picture of what it will be like
before ‫ יהושע‬returns, what does this mean?
2. Will there be two different people groups….one represented by
Noah and one by Lot, who will be saved?
To answer these questions, we will take a look at the lives of both of
these men. Then we will end by making what may turn out to be some
surprising conclusions.
11
“And learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already
become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that the summer is
near. “So you also, when you see all these, know that He is near, at the
doors. “Truly, I say to you, this generation shall by no means pass away
until all this takes place. “The heaven and the earth shall pass away,
but My words shall by no means pass away. “But concerning that day
and the hour no one knows, not even the messengers of the heavens,
but My Father only. “And as the days of Noaḥ, so also shall the coming
of the Son of Aḏam be. “For as they were in the days before the flood,
eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day
that Noaḥ entered into the ark, and they did not know until the flood
came and took them all away, so also shall the coming of the Son of
Aḏam be. (Matthew 24:32-39)
12
For if Elohim did not spare the messengers who sinned, but sent them
to Tartaros, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be kept for
judgment, and did not spare the world of old, but preserved Noaḥ, a
proclaimer of righteousness, and seven others, bringing in the flood on
the world of the wicked, and having reduced to ashes the cities of
Seḏom and Amorah condemned them to destruction – having made
them an example to those who afterward would live wickedly, and
rescued righteous Lot, who was oppressed with the indecent behaviour
of the lawless (for day after day that righteous man, dwelling among
them, tortured his righteous being by seeing and hearing their lawless
works), then ‫ יהוה‬knows how to rescue the reverent ones from trial and
to keep the unrighteous unto the day of judgment, to be punished, (2
Peter 2:4-9)
13
“And as it came to be in the days of Noaḥ, so also shall it be in the days
of the Son of Aḏam: “They were eating, they were drinking, they were
marrying, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noaḥ went
into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. “And likewise,
as it came to be in the days of Lot: They were eating, they were
drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they
were building, but on the day Lot went out of Seḏom it rained fire and
sulphur from heaven and destroyed all. “It shall be the same in the day
the Son of Aḏam is revealed. (Luke 17:26-30)
Let’s compare the environment of both Noah and Lot, observe how
they interacted there, and see if we can find significance for our day:
14
• and Elohim said to Noaḥ, “The end of all flesh has come before Me,
for the earth is filled with violence through them. And see, I am
going to destroy them from the earth. (Genesis 6:13)
• And ‫ יהוה‬said, “Because the outcry against Seḏom and Amorah is
great, and because their sin is very heavy, (Genesis 18:20)
It’s pretty obvious that the world today is full of wickedness and
violence. What is interesting is that the Hebrew word for violence is
pronounced the same way as the group of terrorists fighting against
Israel today….HAMAS. HAMAS is an acronym for an Islamic resistance
movement that focuses on the annihilation of Israel.
15
• But Noaḥ found favour in the eyes of ‫יהוה‬. This is the genealogy of
Noaḥ. Noaḥ was a righteous man, perfect in his generations. Noaḥ
walked with Elohim. (Genesis 6:8-9) Noah found grace and was able
to live righteously, and in the midst of an evil generation he was
able to walk out his faith
• (for day after day that righteous man, dwelling among them,
tortured his righteous being by seeing and hearing their lawless
works), (2 Peter 2:8) Lot, surprisingly referred to as a “righteous
man” chose to live in one of the wicked cities. For him it became a
choice of the world over the Elohim he believed in, which caused
torment in his soul.
The question is, How do you respond to the evil that is in our midst?
Does your life just blend in with those around you? Or are you like
Noah…building an ark to escape the coming wrath in plain sight and
preaching righteousness to all who will listen?
‫ … יהוה‬did not spare the world of old, but preserved Noaḥ, a proclaimer
of righteousness, and seven others, bringing in the flood on the world16
of the wicked, (2 Peter 2:5)
• Noah was informed 100 years in advance - and Elohim said to Noaḥ,
“The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with
violence through them. And see, I am going to destroy them from
the earth. (Genesis 6:13)
• Lot knew nothing until the angels came to take him out of the city And when morning dawned, the messengers urged Lot to hurry,
saying, “Get up, take your wife and your two daughters who are
here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.” And while
he loitered, the men took hold of his hand, and his wife’s hand, and
the hands of his two daughters, ‫ יהוה‬having compassion on him,
and they brought him out and set him outside the city. (Genesis
19:15-16)
Should we be in the dark as to the coming judgment? But you,
brothers, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a
17
thief. (1 Thessalonians 5:4)
• Noah and his family found refuge in the ark. They did not have to
flee.
• Lot and his daughters were the only ones to escape the judgment
by foot. And Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had
married his daughters, and said, “Get up, get out of this place, for
‫ יהוה‬is going to destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed
to be as one joking. …But his wife looked back from behind him, and
she became a post of salt. (Genesis 19:14-26)
There are unknowns about how we will escape the coming judgment.
However, there are promises to cling to:
1. then ‫ יהוה‬knows how to rescue the reverent ones from trial and to
keep the unrighteous unto the day of judgment, to be punished, (2
Peter 2:9)
2. “Because you have guarded My Word of endurance, I also shall
guard you from the hour of trial which shall come upon all the
world, to try those who dwell on the earth. (Revelation 3:10)
18
‫ יהושע‬pointed to both of these as He spoke on the condition of the
world before His return. There be a group of people expressing their
love for Him by keeping His commandments, listening carefully for His
instructions and revelation, and therefore not taken by surprise (like
Noah).
“Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your good works
and praise your Father who is in the heavens. “Do not think that I came
to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to
complete. “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass
away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all
be done. “Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands,
and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens;
but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the
reign of the heavens. (Matthew 5:16-19)
Both groups have entered into the kingdom of heaven, one known as
“least” and the other called “great”.
19
and rescued righteous Lot, who was oppressed with the indecent
behaviour of the lawless (2 Peter 2:7)
Lot was declared “righteous”? To be righteousness is to “not deviate
from the standard”. These standards are of course outlined for us in
the Word. Righteousness consists in obedience to ‫’יהוה‬s Torah and
conformity to His nature. To be righteous means to be declared free
from guilt. It seems that Noah and Lot were miles apart in their
“righteousness”.
Seek ‫יהוה‬, all you meek ones of the earth, who have done His rightruling. Seek righteousness, seek meekness, if so be that you are hidden
in the day of wrath of ‫יהוה‬. (Zephaniah 2:3)
Righteousness comes from the same place it’s always come
from….belief in the Word…belief in the Living Word, i.e. the Messiah:
For as through the disobedience of one man many were made sinners,
so also through the obedience of the One many shall be made
20
righteous. (Romans 5:19)
This is the genealogy of Noaḥ. Noaḥ was a righteous man, perfect in
his generations. Noaḥ walked with Elohim. (Genesis 6:9 )
Not only was Noah “righteous”, but he was “perfect” (tamiym). The
Hebraic concept of “perfect” does not mean “absolute sinlessness”, but
rather “walking with integrity of heart”. It means separating yourselves
from the wicked (like not being “unequally yoked”). Noah also “walked
with Elohim”. This has only been said of one other so far – Enoch
(Genesis 5:24). So Lot chose not to completely live out his
righteousness. He did not always choose the Almighty over the world.
He was not “perfect” in his generation. He did not “walk” with Elohim.
Thus his rescue was much different than Noah’s.
Good and straight is ‫ ;יהוה‬Therefore He teaches sinners in the way. He
guides the meek ones in right-ruling, And He teaches the meek ones His
way. (Psalms 25:8-9)
21
“And they are to teach My people the difference between the set-apart
and the profane, and make them know what is unclean and clean. “And
they are to stand as judges in a dispute, and judge it according to My
right-rulings. And they are to guard My Torot and My laws in all My
appointed festivals, and set apart My Sabbaths. (Ezekiel 44:23-24)
How did Noah stay true to ‫ ?יהוה‬Noah’s father, Lamech, was fifty-six
years old when Adam died, a hundred and eleven years old
when Enoch was no more, and a hundred and sixty-eight years old
when Seth passed away. Lamech was taught by these men and would
have met with them throughout the year to celebrate ‫’יהוה‬s feast
days/moadim. Noah knew what was right in ‫’יהוה‬s eyes and chose to
walk in His ways because he had been taught by those who had
eyewitness accounts of the Living Torah (‫)יהושע‬. (1 Peter 1:10-11).
22
What does it mean to walk with ‫?יהוה‬
The word walk is the Hebrew word halak (hey-lamed-kaf sofit). This
word can mean walking physically or figuratively in a spiritual sense. In
numerous places in Scripture, halak is used in reference to one who
lives a Torah-obedient lifestyle; that is, one who follows the righteous
instructions, precepts and teachings of ‫ יהוה‬as outlined in his Word
(Ps 119:1,3) Conversely, there is a walk of darkness for those who walk
contrary to the Torah-law of ‫יהוה‬.
Therefore right-ruling has been far from us, and righteousness does not
reach us. We look for light, but there is darkness; for brightness, but we
walk in thick darkness! (Isaiah 59:9)
In Amos 3:3, ‫ יהוה‬asks of his people, “Can two walk together, except
they be agreed?” In Hebrew thought, one’s walk in this context is
referring to one’s spiritual walk.
23
and Elohim said to Noaḥ, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for
the earth is filled with violence through them. And see, I am going to
destroy them from the earth. “Make yourself an ark of gopherwood.
Make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with tar. “And
this is how you are to make it: The length of the ark is three hundred
cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits. “Make a
window for the ark, and complete it to a cubit from above. And set the
door of the ark in its side. Make it with lower, second, and third decks.
(Genesis 6:13-16)
Here Noah is commanded to build an ark. Now, the word here for
“ark” in the Hebrew is “teivah” which in addition to “ark”, also means
a “word given”. The rabbis put it this way: A “word” is a vessel that
sails through the airwaves from my mouth to your ear, bearing a cargo
of meaning, “the message”. Just as Noah took his family into the
“teivah” (ark) for survival, it is through ‫’יהוה‬s “Teivah” that we can
survive the stormy waters of this world.
24
“Gopher wood” = “gopher ets”; “gimmel-fey-reish ayin-tzadee” or “the
lifting up speech in the highest (praise) is the fountain of the righteous”.
The numeric value of “gopher ets” is 443, which equals the phrase
from Numbers 22:33, “ha chai tee” or “I saved alive”.
“Gopher”
or
“covering”
comes
from
the
Hebrew
word ”mikseh” (Strong’s #4372/TWOT #1008c). Referring to the
leather (as in badger skins, porpoise skins and hides of sea cows) that
comprised the covering of the Tabernacle as well.
What kind of roof did Noah have on the ark? Through the word study
we see the roof was an animal skin covering. Animal skins speak of
atonement cover and shed blood, much like the garments made for
Adam and Eve. The roof the Tabernacle in the Wilderness was also
made of skins. The wood covered in gold plus the skin covering over
top could produce static and anything under that roof could potentially
became electrically charged. Could the ark have had an internal power,
25
a source from our Heavenly Father?
Noah was to cover the ark, within and without, with tar, or pitch.
Actually, in the Hebrew it says that he is to “finish” or “kaphar” it.
“Kaphar” means also “to make atonement” or “make reconciliation”.
It’s the root for “Kippur” as in Yom Kippur. And, it really doesn’t say
“within and without” in the Hebrew. What it does say is “beit chuwtz”
or “the house’s outside”. So Noah is to “make atonement” with “tar”?
With “pitch”!!
The word for “pitch” here is “kopher” which also means “the price of a
life” or “the ransom”, “a life for a life”. It’s saying; “gopher kaphar
kopher” or “the covering is the atonement, the price of a life”.
‫יהושע‬, therefore, said to them, “Yet a little while the light is with you.
Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. And he who
walks in darkness does not know where he is going. “While you have
the light, believe in the light, so that you become sons of light.” These
words ‫ יהושע‬spoke, and went off and was hidden from them. (John
12:35-36)
26
“Kane” (Strongs #7064), the Hebrew for rooms, also means nests.
Noah was to prepare nests in the ark for the animals.
‫ יהושע‬said:
“In My Father’s house are many staying places. And if not, I would have
told you. I go to prepare a place for you. “And if I go and prepare a
place for you, I shall come again and receive you to Myself, that where
I am, you might be too. “And where I go you know, and the way you
know.” T’oma said to Him, “Master, we do not know where You are
going, and how are we able to know the way?” ‫ יהושע‬said to him, “I
am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father
except through Me. “If you had known Me, you would have known My
Father too. From now on you know Him, and have seen.” (John 14:2-7)
27
‫ יהוה‬commanded Noah in verse 16 to make a “window” in this “ark”.
However, Torah doesn’t say make a “challown”, which is the Biblical
Hebrew word for “window”. It says a “tsohar” you shall make for the
“ark”. “Tsohar” (Zohar) literally means “light”, “brilliance” or
“radiance”. Furthermore in the Hebrew it says it shall be a cubit “kalah
ma‟al”. In other words, it shall be a cubit “placed on top of” the ark. It
was as a “skylight”. This skylight brought light to the “teivah” (the ark),
just as the Tsohar brings light, or radiance, to teivah (the word). During
the entire twelve months that Noah was in the ark he did not require
the light of the sun by day or the moon by night.
What we get here is as this tsohar brought light to the remnant of man
that would survive the cleansing of the “flood”; so too, Messiah ‫יהושע‬,
the “Light of the world” will make that light available to the remnant of
man who are to survive Jacob's Trouble and the cleansing fire to come
in the Last Days. And, it’s by that “Light” or “Radiance” that we will see
the New Jerusalem, the Renewed Heaven and the Renewed Earth; as it
28
is written in Revelation 21:23-24;
The Hebrew word for Window is challon (Strong’s # 2474/TWOT
#660c) from the Hebrew root word chalal (#660), meaning wound
(fatally), bore through and pierce.
Window/Challon taken as a piercing or hollow in the wall. The phrase
"windows of heaven" is another term for "floodgates." ‫ יהוה‬controls
the irrigation to let a destructive flood fall (Genesis 8:2; Isaiah 24:18),
or a shower of plenty (2 Kings 7:2) as a symbol of blessing (Malachi
3:10).
Challah (#660b) is a baked unleavened, “pierced” cake presented in
the mincha or grain offering. It is made of fine flour and oil. (Leviticus
2:4). Challah was part of the firstfruits offering and was placed on the
altar as part of the elevation offering (Numbers 15:20). Participants
ate challah as part of their peace offering/shelamim (2 Samuel 6:19).
Challon comes from the root word chalal (TWOT # 660) meaning
wounded (fatally), bore through and pierced. The Hebrew word for
bride is kallah Strong’s #3618 from TWOT # 986a. The Bride of ‫יהושע‬
29
came from His pierced side.
300 the value of “kopher” or “the ransom” and “kapar” which is
“forgiveness” the root of “kapparah” or “offering of atonement”.
50 is the value of “damah”, “His blood”; also “l‟ach” or “for you” and
the letter “nun” or the “Heir to the Kingdom”.
30 is the value of “v‟chata”, “and he shall purify”, also “ha kah” or “was
slain” and “v‟ya chayah”, “and I make alive”.
Because even Messiah once suffered for sins, the righteous for the
unrighteous, to bring you to Elohim, having been put to death indeed in
flesh but made alive in the Spirit, in which also He went and proclaimed
unto the spirits in prison, who were disobedient at one time when the
patience of Elohim waited in the days of Noaḥ, while the ark was being
prepared, in which a few, that is, eight beings, were saved through
water, which figure now also saves us: immersion – not a putting away
of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward
Elohim – through the resurrection of ‫ יהושע‬Messiah, who, having gone
into heaven, is at the right hand of Elohim, messengers and authorities
and powers having been subjected to Him. (1 Peter 3:18-22)
30
In the words of Rimona Frank:
Interestingly, it is in the process of the Ark building that our attention is
first called to the act of propitiation and atonement: "kippur." "Make
yourself an ark of (acacia) gopher wood… and… cover it inside and out
with pitch (Genesis 6:14 italics added). The verb and noun for the
action (of "covering") and the material ("pitch") are of the root, k.f.r
(kaf, pey/fey, resh) - which makes up "kippur". Thus this Ark is to
become a shelter, offering a covering for the sins of the age, as it were.
The rabbis believe that anyone, among those who had watched it being
built through the many years of its construction, could have also found
refuge in it. Instead, the spectators chose to scoff and ridicule its
builder. In most other cases, the verb and the noun stemming from the
root k.f.r are used directly in connection with 'atonement' (e.g. Daniel
9:24) or as 'payment of a price, or ransom' (e.g. Num. 35:31).
31
And ‫ יהוה‬said to Noaḥ, “Come into the ark, you and all your household,
because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this
generation. “Of all the clean beasts take with you seven pairs, a male
and his female; and of the beasts that are unclean two, a male and his
female; and of birds of the heavens seven pairs, male and female, to
keep offspring alive on the face of all the earth. (Genesis 7:1-3)
How did Noah know clean and unclean animals? Noah learned through
his relatives what was originally taught to Adam and Eve in the Garden,
‫’יהוה‬s teaching and instruction called Torah, for a blessed life on earth.
The clean animals were for sacrifice and eating and the unclean
animals were not to be food for us; they were never to be for human
consumption. We understand that Noah knew about the clean and
unclean, holy and unholy and walked in the obedience of ‫’יהוה‬s
teaching, as ‫ יהוה‬refers to him as a righteous man in Genesis 6:9, one
32
who kept and walked in the ways of ‫יהוה‬.
“For after seven more days I am sending rain on the earth, forty days
and forty nights, and shall wipe from the face of the earth all that
stand that I created.” And Noaḥ did according to all that ‫יהוה‬
commanded him. Now Noaḥ was six hundred years old when the floodwaters were on the earth. … And it came to be after seven days that
the waters of the flood were on the earth. In the six hundredth year of
Noaḥ’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on
that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the
windows of the heavens were opened. (Genesis 7:4-11)
Noah and his family entered the ark on the tenth day of the second
month (Iyar) on the Biblical calendar. There is a provision in Torah for
those who cannot partake in the Passover and Feast of Unleavened
Bread due to being ceremonially unclean. Numbers 9:6-12. Once a
prophetic symbol: The floodwaters acting as a mikvah (baptism) and
possible the eating the unleavened bread as they could not make fire.33
‫ יהוה‬allows Noah to experience seven more days of persecution before
the rains of judgment come upon the earth after which ‫ יהוה‬shuts
Noah and his family up in the ark of safety after which the ark “was
lifted above the earth”. ‫ יהושע‬teaches that just prior to his second
coming there will be trouble:
“And immediately after the distress of those days ,…“And then the sign
of the Son of Aḏam shall appear in the heaven, and then all the tribes
of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Aḏam coming on
the clouds of the heaven with power and much esteem. (Matthew
24:29-30)
This speaks of a seven-year tribulation period we will go through
before the Wrath of ‫יהוה‬, which is different than the Tribulation Period,
which is poured out upon this earth.
And I heard a loud voice from the Dwelling Place saying to the seven
messengers, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of Elohim on the
earth.” (Revelation 16:1).
Scripturally, tribulation
(John 16:33; Acts 14:22; Rev 7:14)
34
and wrath are two different words and concepts.
“8” people: the number of “new beginnings” and the number of
“circumcision” (the mark of the Covenant for the Land). However, it is
also the numeric value of “ahav” or “love” and of the letter “chet”
which is “life” and represents “the fear of ‫”יהוה‬.
The rain lasted 40 days and nights on the earth. 40 is the number of
“testing” and “trials”, as well as the letter “mem” or the “water”. It also
equals “v‟ga‟al” which means “and He redeems”.
No’ach was 600 years old: 600 is the numeric value of “shesh” which is
the number “six” or the number of “man”.
The waters rose to a height of 15 cubits above the mountains: 15 is the
numeric value of “chavah” meaning “to hide” or “to cover over” and
also “big‟vai” meaning “faithless” or “treacherous”.
The date that the waters “broke loose”. It was in the second month,
the 17th day of the month. 2 equals the letter “beit” or “house” and 17
equals “zebach” or “sacrifice”, making up “house of sacrifice”. It’s also
the day that the “manna” began to form for B’nei Yisra’el in the
35
wilderness, according to Exodus 16.
And it came to be, at the end of forty days, that Noaḥ opened the
window of the ark which he had made, and he sent out a raven, which
kept going out and turning back until the waters had dried up from the
earth. (Genesis 8:6-7)
A raven is an unclean bird, a scavenger by design. The fact that the
raven went back and forth shows it was searching for remains to feed
on. The raven represents those who still have unredeemed soul
natures even after being born again. They continue going their own
way never entering into their inheritance or redemption. They remain
unconverted.
Then he sent out a dove from him, to see if the waters had receded
from the face of the ground. But the dove found no resting place for its
feet and returned into the ark to him, for the waters were on the face
of all the earth. So he put out his hand and took it, and pulled it into
the ark to himself. (Genesis 8:7-9)
The dove found no rest in worldly affairs and returned to the sanctity
of the ark (representing Torah) contrary to the raven that just kept
36
doing its own thing, church hoping.
And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent the dove out
from the ark. And the dove came to him in the evening, and see, a
freshly plucked olive leaf was in its mouth. And Noaḥ knew that the
waters had receded from the earth. (Genesis 8:10-11)
The olive leaf is not affected by a few months of being submerged
under water as can be seen by the “freshly plucked” olive leaf.
The Hebrew word for “freshly plucked” is tarap (Strong’s #2965/TWOT
#827a), only found in Genesis 8:11. Its root word (TWOT #827 tarap)
means rent or tear. ‫יהושע‬, the root of the of the olive tree, rent the
Temple veil from top to bottom, opening up forgiveness and
redemption.
The term “olive leaf” more closely we discover that aleh (TWOT
#1624a) corresponds to leaf and comes from the root
word ala meaning to go up, as in the olah or elevation offering. ‫יהושע‬
was the first elevation offering for all mankind.
37
“And you shall go there and look there for Yĕhu son of Yehoshaphat,
son of Nimshi, and go in and make him rise up from among his
brothers, and take him to an inner room, “and take the flask of oil, and
pour it on his head, and say, ‘Thus said ‫יהוה‬, “I have anointed you
sovereign over Yisra’ĕl.” ’ Then you shall open the door and flee, and do
not wait.” So the young man – the young man the prophet – went to
Ramoth Gilʽaḏ, (2 Kings 9:2-4)
But the Spirit distinctly says that in latter times some shall fall away
from the belief, paying attention to misleading spirits, and teachings of
demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having been branded on their own
conscience, forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods which
Elohim created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe
and know the truth. (1 Timothy 4:1-3)
Why do “seducing spirits” want people to abstain from eating meat
(become a vegetarian)? Benjamin Creme (Leader of the New Age Cult)
wrote that eating meat weakens a person’s ability to accept signals
from higher levels of consciousness/vibration.
38
Today, from the Masters' point of view, the third is the first true (soul)
initiation, the first and second being really preparatory, demonstrating
the control of the vehicles ….The physical body is the first to undergo
purification and, for those in preparation for the first initiation, a
vegetarian diet becomes essential. Meat eating has a lowering effect
on the vibration of the physical body of man and must be eliminated
from the diet. It is interesting to note how many people today,
especially the young, are turning to vegetarianism. There is no doubt
that this relates to the fact that several millions now stand on the
threshold of the first initiation; consciously or unconsciously, they are
responding to the inner precepts of the soul.
Fallen angels and other evil spirits operate at higher-levels of
consciousness. By not eating meat you become more prone to
receiving communication from these evil spirits. These evil spirits want
to communicate with you so that they can prepare you spiritually for
the arrival of Antichrist. It should also be no surprise that Adolf Hitler,
was a vegetarian while ‫יהושע‬was NOT a vegetarian (He ate fish in Luke
24:41-43).

“And I shall establish My covenant with you, and never again is all flesh
cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again is there a flood to
destroy the earth.” And Elohim said, “This is the sign of the covenant
which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is
with you, for all generations to come: “I shall set My rainbow in the
cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the
earth. (Genesis 9:11-13)
The covenant of Noah was a universal covenant to all mankind, which
promised that a flood would never again destroy the earth. ‫ יהוה‬also
instituted the principle of human government to curb sin and the
proclaimed the first physical sign of a covenant to be a multi colored
rainbow, which still stands for the promise and terms of Noah’s
covenant today.
40
The Hebrew word used in these verses for “cloud” is “anah”. Each time
it appears, it is referring to the “cloud” that contains the Glory of ‫;יהוה‬
i.e., the “Pillar of Cloud” or the “Column of Cloud”. What ‫ יהוה‬is saying
here is that when “His cloud” covers the earth, in that time of the
great darkness, His “Bow” (His Esteem ~ Mashiach) will be the “Sign”
of His Covenant in the “Cloud”. ‫ יהושע‬said: “And immediately after the
distress of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall
not give its light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the
powers of the heavens shall be shaken. “And then the sign of the Son of
Aḏam shall appear in the heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth
shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Aḏam coming on the clouds
of the heaven with power and much esteem. “And He shall send His
messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the
heavens to the other. (Matthew 24:29-31)
Also, the Zohar states in Vol. 1, p.72, “The rainbow contains spiritual
secrets….. When you see the rainbow shining with bright colors, wait
41
for Mashiach‟s coming.”
And the sons of Noaḥ who went out of the ark were Shĕm and Ḥam
and Yepheth. And Ḥam was the father of Kenaʽan. … And Noaḥ, a man
of the soil, began and planted a vineyard. And he drank of the wine
and was drunk, and became uncovered in his tent. And Ḥam, the father
of Kenaʽan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers
outside. …And Noaḥ awoke from his wine, and he knew what his
younger son had done to him, and he said, “Cursed is Kenaʽan, let him
become a servant of servants to his brothers.” (Genesis 9:18-25)
QUESTION: Why are we told here that Ham was the father of Kena’an?
And, why would No’ach, after he sobered up, curse Ham’s one son and
not Ham, or the rest of his descendants? Perhaps Kena’an was the
product of Ham having lain with No’ach’s wife.
‘And a man who lies with the wife of his father has uncovered the
nakedness of his father, both of them shall certainly be put to death,
42
their blood is upon them. (Leviticus 20:11)
And he said, “Blessed be ‫יהוה‬, the Elohim of Shĕm, and let Kenaʽan
become his servant. “Let Elohim enlarge Yepheth, and let him dwell in
the tents of Shĕm. And let Kenaʽan become his servant.” (Genesis 9:2627)
• No’ach blessed ‫ יהוה‬as the Elohim of Shem; indicating that Shem
was, like him, a righteous man. Shem settled in the Middle East, from
the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Suez (the Reed Sea).
• No’ach blessed Yepheth (Japheth), that he should be enlarged, or
made a people great in number. Yepheth grew very large and
migrated to Europe and all across China.
• And, No’ach cursed Kena’an to become Shem’s servant. Ham went all
through the southern latitudes and the extreme northern latitudes.
Some of the descendants of Ham, the Kena’anites, remain to this day
in and round Eretz Yisra’el as enemies of Shem (B’nei Yisra’el).

Genesis 10:1-11:9
Recorded in the above Scripture reference is the list of recorded
generations and lines of descent within their nations that filled the
earth after the flood. In Genesis 11 we see the extent of evil has
intensified upon the earth once again. ‫ יהוה‬kept His word not to flood
the earth again. Instead He caused great confusion among the
populace by changing their language so that the nations could not
function in a single language again. The various languages they spoke
were thereafter just babble to those listening that spoke in a different
tongue. With this, ‫ יהוה‬scattered them over the earth.
Pseudo Jubilee 10:1-10 And in the third week of this jubilee the
unclean demons began to lead astray the children of the sons of Noah,
and to make to err and destroy them. And the sons of Noah came to
Noah their father, and they told him concerning the demons which
were leading astray and blinding and slaying his sons' sons.
44
Pseudo Jubilee 10:3-10 And he prayed before the Lord his God, and said: 'God
of the spirits of all flesh, who hast shown mercy unto me And hast saved me
and my sons from the waters of the flood, And hast not caused me to perish
as Thou didst the sons of perdition; For Thy grace has been great towards me,
And great has been Thy mercy to my soul; Let Thy grace be lift up upon my
sons, And let not wicked spirits rule over them Lest they should destroy them
from the earth. But do Thou bless me and my sons, that we may increase and
Multiply and replenish the earth. … And the Lord our God bade us to bind all.
And the chief of the spirits, Mastema, came and said: 'Lord, Creator, let some
of them remain before me, and let them harken to my voice, and do all that I
shall say unto them; for if some of them are not left to me, I shall not be able
to execute the power of my will on the sons of men; for these are for
corruption and leading astray before my judgment, for great is the wickedness
of the sons of men. And He said: Let the tenth part of them remain before
him, and let nine parts descend into place of condemnation.' And one of us
He commanded that we should teach Noah all their medicines
45
Misguided ambition (a common trait) leads to sin. so that he who
thinks he stands, let him take heed lest he fall. (1 Corinthians
10:12) We must always remain in the Spirit.
It is futile to try to resist the Almighty His prophetic word will come to
pass and His Kingdom will come forth. He who is sitting in the heavens
laughs, ‫ יהוה‬mocks at them. (Psalms 2:4)
‫'יהוה‬s power is unlimited, irresistible, and works through His people to
fulfill His purposes. Peter prayed concerning ministry in
Jerusalem, “…stretching out Your hand for healing, and signs, and
wonders to take place through the Name of Your set-apart Servant
‫יהושע‬.” And when they had prayed, .. they were all filled with the Setapart Spirit, and they spoke the word of Elohim with boldness. (Acts
4:29-31)
‫'יהוה‬s ability to confound and scatter the tower builders is matched by
His competence to effectively gather, re-educate, and reconcile into
one, the two houses of Israel, [i.e., make the One New Man].
We should always be awed at ‫'יהוה‬s poetic justice. ‘Do not fear, ..I
shall also help you, I shall also uphold you with the right hand of My
46
righteousness.’ (Isaiah 41:10)
