Create a propaganda poster as a Federalist or Anti-Federalist
During the Constitutional Convention two groups of people developed – those who were for the Constitution
and those who were against the Constitution. These people, Federalists and Anti-Federalists, Each had their
reasons for the way they felt; both sides were justified.
 Task: Pick a side; Federalist or Anti-Federalist; create a propaganda poster which convinces the other
side to join your own side (Federalists convince Anti-Federalists that the constitution is a good idea;
Anti-Federalists, convince Federalists that the Constitution is a bad idea); bring them to your side using
information gathered from the close reading article, any additional research conducted and
background knowledge. What makes the Constitution good and why do you support it? Or what is
wrong with the Constitution and why don’t you support it?
