 Conceived and delivered Wireless Sensor technology roadmap as part of national 10 year road mapping
effort iN2015. Identified sensor ecosystem and key opportunities and impediments for the growth of
sensor eco system in Singapore. Managed interaction with industry, government agencies and industry
partners to generate the roadmap.
 Engaged luminaries and organized talks, shows to gather feedback from industry and government
bodies. An interactive session with Jaron Lanier - a well known expert in tele-immersion was one of
them.
 Envisaged and architected an open standard based, large scale sensor grid platform to remove
technology impediments to support large scale government sensor deployments in Singapore. Project
managed the delivery of Sensor grid development using public tendering process.

 Provide thought leadership to the innovation centre through product roadmaps, conceptualizing
innovative applications and development of patent portfolio.
 Provided leadership overseas to delivery team to deliver a wireless fitness management system that
dramatically improves the quality of experience for end users, trainers, club owners, maintenance
personnel. This project stretched over 2 years and had an estimated budget over $3M. Lead a 20+ team
of in house as well as out sourced vendors. This product was deployed in high end fitness centers in UK
and USA.
 Managed projects in wireless remote automotive diagnostics, bowling and navigation space. Recruited
and mentored technical resources.
 Originally recruited as a technical lead was immediately promoted to technology manager and then as a
director. Was inducted into Brunswick Performance Plan where bonus is linked to the profitability.

 Lead a team of 7 research engineers to drive an internal startup venture group on mobile middleware

 Develop business plan and fund rising from angels, venture capitalist and corporate investors

Key Selected Outcomes.
 Proposed a business idea to the incubation unit and founded a business unit which developed mobile
middleware in man to machine, machine to machine space. The overall internal budget was over
$1M.Lead pilot projects of this middleware over several verticals including interactive advertisements,
metering, energy management, automotive, fitness, vending machines and wet labs. This was identified
as one of the promising technologies and was showcased by IDA, Singapore in HP E-bazzar and 3GSM
conference at Cannes under IDA banner.
 Conceptualized “Smart Wet Labs” and raised external funding to the tune of $250K to use wireless
pervasive computing technologies within wet labs to improve the quality and accuracy of research data
collected within wet labs for FDA submissions
 Raised project based funding/grants to the tune of $250K to produce proof of concepts. Lead the
creation of business plan and interaction with early stage investors.
 Lead a 7 member research team to produce technology and suite of patents (7 pending patents).
Provided technology and architectural vision to the middleware.
